Following up off his early 2022 NHS EP 'Imitation Plantae’, NHS bossman Galtier brings back the weirdo-bass vibe with a panic-stricken selection of 4 tracks spanning a plethora of BPMs; no surprises there. A surprising switch to hardware production however has caused a healthy shift in the general presence of Galtier's tracks. Distinctly churning in mood and flow, Galtier’s third contribution to his own catalog are tunes for the place where the roof drips.

The nauseating melter-tech approach to the array of tracks reek of panic-mode energy; with jarring hooks that contort through the resonant, crispy aether of each piece. The rawness of hardware shines through on each iteration of this new focus for Galtier: a distinct step in the direction of swampy bass music that glistens just right as those raw frequencies should.

In the words of Lyo XS, this is a production that nostalgically evokes the impulse to get closer to music, overcoming his insecurities that arose along the way and saying "ME VALE VERGA" this is what I like.
This project integrates emotions that she has collected along her path, which began as an accident or luck.

"Presión" is a track in which she mainly reflects her insecurities, her impostor syndrome and the constant thought of what they will say, if they will like it or if it will be enough.
Lyo XS turns all these insecurities into this piece, which has become one of her favorites.

Dulce Masse Vega born in Ecatepec, State of Mexico, Lyo XS has made her mark in vibrant Mexico City. Since 2015, she has been wowing audiences with her experimental electronic music project, formerly known as OLY and now evolving under the name Lyo XS.

Her music has resonated at renowned international events and festivals, such as EDC, Mutek Montreal, Ceremony, NRMAL and Boiler Room, leaving an indelible mark on each stage.

Freund der Familie invite Christopher Rau, Pole, Roger Gerressen and Van Bonn to remixes cuts from their 2018 ‘Panorama’ EP this February.

Leipzig, Germany’s Freund der Familie, the producer and label name, has long been respected in the world of raw, underground house and techno. The past decade has seen the founders Klaus Rakete & Mirko Hunger unveil a number of releases under the alias, exploring a wide range of styles influenced by dub, leftfield electronica and much more. Here the label revisits the ‘Panorama’ EP from a few years back, welcoming remixes from some esteemed artists in the industry.

Christopher Rau returns on remix duties following his take on Symbian for FDF005 and also FDFALFA01, this time round Rau delivers a hazy take on ‘PRS’ driven by raw analogue drums, woozy synths and winding subs. Dub master and Scape mastering head honcho Pole steps up next with his take on ‘CRM’, delivering a typically intricate twist employing expansive swells, snappy percussion and swirling low end tones.

Irenic boss Roger Gerressen delivers his take on ‘PRS’ next, taking a more groove-driven feel with stripped-back drums, ethereal pad textures and crisp bass stabs before Van Bonn wraps up the package, reworking ‘CRM’ with a heavily swung drum groove, menacing synth flutters and a dynamic, ever-evolving feel.
