Lucid Sun Dream is an experimental psychedelic rock band based in Vienna, Austria. Since 2014 they constantly have been refining their musical style. Inspired by genres like stoner rock, psychedelic rock, alternative rock, industrial and electronica they are working on the definition of their own unique sound. It is greatly influenced by bands like NIN, All Them Witches, My Sleeping Karma, Monkey 3 and similar. Their songs are based on freely interpretable acoustic metaphors of subconscious delirious mind states. 

The work of the last two years results in the concept EPs Somnambolistic Tides and Wolfing Roots. The eleven, mainly instrumental, tracks reflect the development of their musical character over the creative process. Whereas the earlier tracks on Somnambolistic Tides are rather calm and clean, the following, heavier and more substantially cohesive, songs on Wolfing Roots are now the base of their musical orientation. 

The stylistically wide spectrum is realized by using one or two electric guitars extended by effects like delays, phasers, reverbs, drives, fuzzes, wahs, boosters and pitch shifters, an electric bass, drums and hypnotizing synths or keys. 

Besides the different selfmade artworks all songs are entirely written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Lucid Sun Dream.

Bill Fink is a versatile musician based in New York, known for his dynamic contributions to the regional music scene.  He is the frontman of the progressive punk band Mr. Bighead, where he serves as bassist, and lead vocalist.  The band is celebrated for its high-energy performances and a distinctive sound that blends punk, funk, and indie rock influences.  Notable tracks from Mr. Bighead include “Whiskey Cat,” “Hip Replacement,” and “Drones.”  

In addition to his work with Mr. Bighead, Fink is also a founding member of Acoustics Anonymous, an acoustic duo from upstate New York.  In this project, he plays acoustic guitar and lead vocals. Their music offers a more intimate, groove-oriented experience, as showcased in original songs like “Things Are Things.”  

Fink actively shares his musical endeavors on social media platforms.  You can follow his latest performances and updates on Instagram and TikTok, where he posts studio sessions, live clips, and original compositions.
