As an artist I force myself to be versatile while keeping my own touch on the music I create. Much of the creative ideas behind this album were inspired by the feeling of loss, a loss of attachment to any of the restraints and walls I had created within my art. I am never pushing for a specific sound, I go with my subconscious flow. Once again my grandpa has continued to inspire me through his art. Every time I get to work with him I feel grateful. Essex based duo Saraphim is RNS and RDubz two producer DJ’s who generally work around the 140 spectrum, mixing in ethnical influences into their music. They can also be found making any style of music that comes to mind in a studio session under the duo name of RNS & Rdubz for their more experimental work.
Graduating through Education & Bass, RNS & RDubz have been going under the "Saraphim" alias for 2 years, this release follows a single release on
Education & Bass, a 4 track EP release with Locus Sound, a track on Sentry Records’ Syndicate Pt 2 compilation, a remix for Dread or Dead Records, 2
releases with Japanese based Vomitspit and also most recently appeared on a compilation for the previously mentioned Locus Sound.
When it comes to dj mixes they like to keep the energy up with system music but melody is a mainstay in the direction that they go so you can expect weighty sections amongst more musical vibes, ethnic and grimey twists too, that pretty much encompasses what 140 is about for them.

‘Downers’ is quite simply a masterpiece. Sonically akin to the likes of Koan sound, Culprate, and others of the golden dubstep years, this song encapsulates 70’s synths, warbling basses, deep kicks and more ear candy than a sweetshop. This funk is not to be missed!

‘Cømpiler - Deep Learning (Bidl Remix)’ boasts an original take on a classic whilst retaining his usual vibe, swaggered rhythm, basses that pop out of the mix and entice you to listen again! The flip is a stinker too!

Ben Safire has built foundations for Drum and bass in Australia, crossing over to Bass music and Hip Hop, his labels Plasma Audio & Chilla Holla represent music from top international/local artists and also offers professional Mix and Mastering services from Plasma Studio in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia.
