Music, when created correctly has the power to separate you from reality; it is a rare power that brings infinite joy to others. Borak holds that power. This artist's deep and eclectic style creates energetic sets that offer not only an experience for your ears, but also for your body and mind. In Borak's music you'll hear the influence of his travels to Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. His influence also comes from his early days in music when he played as a lead guitarist in rock bands and as well as the time he spent as a radio host and DJ at Turkey's Power FM.

Over the years his style has grown into a force that brings together tribal drums, distinctive vocals, emotional Eastern ballads, and dynamic bass frequencies to share with people all over the world.

The DJ career that started in Turkey took Borak across Europe and to Los Angeles where he has played on stage at some of the top festivals in the world including Burning Man. He has gained additional exposure with his recent co-acts with world-renowned DJs @blondish and @djtennisdjtennis in Los Angeles as well as @patrice-baumel at @donotsit.

These successes have led him to create an ongoing radio show, "The Ukiyo Podcast", which became a worldwide sensation after just 20 episodes. By the beginning of the year 2021 Borak, evolved his DJ Sets into hybrid acts to be more expressive. With an elegant approach his guitar travels on top of the grooves that he plays while his music not losing its electronic edge.

The community that Borak has created with his music is the fire that ignites his musical spirit as he continues to grow in the United States and beyond.

This set absolutely holds a special place in my heart not only because it was my very first main stage encounter at LiB but also I've danced myself for so many times on the dance floor of Woogie, under it's gigantic mushrooms. Marcos Gari, also known as Cocho, is a 24 year-old DJ and producer from Buenos Aires. After learning to play guitar at 13, Marcos discovered electronic music at 15. Working hard and perfecting his craft, he earned a music production degree from a university in Buenos Aires (UCA). Since then, Cocho has released several tracks on labels such as All Day I Dream, TrybesOf, Days Like Nights, La Juanita, Slapped and more. His music has also received support from artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge, Oliver Koletzki, and Eelke Kleijn, among others. He has played in clubs such as Metropolitano Rosario, Mais55 Brasil, PM Open Air, Palacio Alsina, Crobar, The Bow in Buenos Aires, and Sonora Park in Mar del Plata. He has shared the stage with artists such as Eelke Kleijn, John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Andhim and Ezequiel Arias, among others.

das oben genannte recording war ein warm up dj set. als wir in den kiosk kamen war es noch recht frisch, also so leichte jacke lange hose frisch. nach kurzer zeit jedoch wurde es wärmer, das lag vor allem an den heißen tunes unserer beiden weichspüler der herzen.

wir bedanken uns bei der eventreihe "liminal" für die liebe einladung und die freundliche umsorgung, sowie bei allen tanzwütigen liebis, die es bis zum schluss im schönsten kiosk der stadt mit uns ausgehalten haben. wir fühlen nichts als liebe und sind noch sehr beseelt.

Bilal blessed us with a set rich in soul and grit, channeling the roots of house from Detroit, Chicago, and New York - the very foundation that shaped the dance floor. 🕺🏽✨

In Bilal’s own words:

this was burn #11 for me. and you'd think you know what to expect by now. but NOPE! this place really knows how to throw a curveball at all of us... but seeing people bounce back and knock that curveball out of the park is more amazing to see. 

i really didnt know what to expect on Man Burn Night, surrounded by all the different art cars and crowds. its basically like standing in the TV section at Best Buy with every channel blaring at once. 

anyway, this mix is the result of the environment at the time. i had fun sharing this music and i hope you do too.

It was an infatuation with electronic music from a young age that sparked the beginning of Nick Berry’s DJ career in the Sydney scene back in 2014.

Since then, Berry has made a name for himself through his acute deviation from what is expected, playing uniquely melodic music punctuated by an eclectic mix of deep house and techno - influenced by the 90’s rave and progressive trance era. Fast forward to present day and Nick Berry has shared lineups with DJ Koze, Oliver Koletzki, Andhim, and Gerd Janson to name a few.

His deep and eclectic style creates energetic sets that offer not only an experience for your ears, but also for your body and mind. In Borak’s music you’ll hear the influence of Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.

The DJ career that started in Turkey took Borak across Europe and to Los Angeles where he has played on stage at some of the top festivals in the world including Burning Man, Echoes From Agartha and Lightning in a Bottle Festival. He has gained additional exposure with his recent co-acts with world renowned DJs Dixon, Blondish ,Keinemusik, Guy J and DJ Tennis in Los Angeles as well as Patrice Baumel at Do Not S
it Miami.

At the beginning of 2023 Borak released his first EP under the successful Miami based record label “Magician on Duty” as he started a brand new chapter in his career. The 4 track EP “Le Magistrat” entered in charts on its first day and managed to become number 1 in both Beatport Afro House and Beatport Indie Dance Release Charts.

Benjamin Landhäuser & Gino Raddant live in Karlsruhe, Germany and produce music together since 2 years. Even though Landhouse already Djs for about 15 since years and hosts a regular event at Erdbeermund ind Karlruhe. They allready release several EP and will also bring you the next Serafin record!
