@jean-vayat is a DJ producer from Kyiv, Ukraine, currently based in LA, US. He started his DJ career in early 2000. Since then, his passion for music has led him to perform at numerous venues and Festivals, such as the White Nights festival in Kyiv in 2018 and 2019, De Sad River Rave, Heaven Club, Kvartira 54, and many others.
The desire to evolve and produce has gradually transformed into the writing of his own tracks. It was not difficult to find the perfect sound, as Jean was always drawn to oriental motifs. So in 2018 he had his first release on Sol Selectas. This was followed by releases on Katermukke, Harabe Records, Shango Records, Dear Deer, Art Vibes, Go Deeva, and others. A unique way of combining house music and oriental sounds has become artist's trademark. His exceptional sense for oriental tunes and ability to combine them with dynamic rhythms will surely spin your head around in this magical, ethereal experience.

In the early 90’s I recorded a mixtape called Sector 101, it was popular for some time and I got to play part of this set on Power Tools 106 FM which was a DJ radio show broadcast in Los Angeles on Saturday nights (this is where I met Richard Humpty-Vision, Tony B, Sweedish Egil, and Gerry Meraz).  This is also when I started to play DJ sets on Sweedish Egil’s Groove Radio and KSPC.  I put a link to my original mixtape recording below.  Back then DJs were making lots of mixtapes to hand out to promoters and fans, it was like a DJ’s business card.  We also had to deal with the 90 minute hard time limit, 45 minutes per side of an audio cassette tape, which was pretty annoying.  In 2023-2024 I decided to continue this mixtape series and released Sector 303, Sector 606, and Sector 808, so now here is the last mix in the series, Sector 909! True to his name, he builds musical bridges—blending calm, flowing selections with bursts of energy and harder cuts. Each performance is a reflection of his evolving relationship with sound and his ability to balance structure with spontaneity.

Bio:
Anna Maria Harokopou, better known as Anna Maria X or AMX, is a prominent figure in Greece’s electronic music scene. Born in Athens and trained in sociology, she began her radio journey in 1996 on the pioneering station Klik FM. In 2001, she moved to Best Radio, where her show Best Weekend Mix became a favorite among dance music lovers worldwide.
She went on to host a dance music show on Mad TV for four years and became the voice behind countless TV and radio commercials. Since 2010, she has been the official voice of the Onassis Cultural Foundation. At the peak of its influence, she was the resident DJ at the legendary Athenian club +Soda.
AMX has released six acclaimed mix compilations (Believer 1&2, Sleepless Drive 1&2, Back2Back Sessions 1&2 with G.Pal), and her vocal track "Ocean of Blue" became a classic of Greek electronica with international recognition.
Her DJ career has taken her across the globe — from Canada and Argentina to Germany, Turkey, and beyond — performing at top venues like Stereo Montreal, Pacha Buenos Aires, Exit Kaunas, Cavo Paradiso Mykonos, and, of course, +Soda Athens.
In 2011, she completed her vocal studies at the Greek National Conservatory and contributed music to the Greek feature film Paradise and the act Lovechild. She also collaborated with producer Stelios Vassiloudis on his debut album, released on Bedrock Records.
Between 2012 and 2014, Anna Maria hosted several radio shows on Best 92.6, En Lefko, and Join Radio, while also producing her own mixes and live DJ sets. She later launched HomeBase Radio, a dedicated platform for her mixes, followed by HomeBase Athens, through which she organized two major events celebrating 20 years of +Soda.
With the return of Best Radio 92.6, AMX marked two decades of her radio presence. You can catch her live daily from 8–9pm and every Friday at midnight on best926.gr.
