NAIKI, also known as Nicofer, brings his signature style to Schirmchendrink with his mix titled Rusty Blade. Hailing from Buenos Aires, NAIKI’s journey began at the age of 10 with a pair of drumsticks in hand. His early exploration of techno and minimal techno soon gave way to a love affair with progressive house. Over time, his sound evolved, blending deep, organic, and melodic house with hints of techno. The result? A style that is danceable yet deeply emotive, balancing groovy beats with intricate melodies.

This mix reflects NAIKI’s ongoing evolution as both DJ and producer. Seamlessly navigating between genres, it showcases his talent for creating immersive, flowing soundscapes. Originally from the Northwest of Ireland, Colm began his DJ career in 1998, playing across clubs in his home region and honing his distinctive sound. In 2005, he made the move to New York City, where he now resides and continues to evolve as an artist.

Over the years, Colm has contributed guest mixes to respected platforms such as Bekool, Ibiza Global Radio, Canopy Sounds, Deeper Sounds, ROFD, and Deep House Islamabad, among others. His sets are known for weaving together lush textures and deep, emotive rhythms that span Deep House, Organic House, and Progressive genres.

Colm is also the host of Dirty Grooves, a monthly show on Saturo Sounds Radio, where he curates an hour of cutting-edge music, reflecting both his signature style and the latest in the underground electronic scene.
