Bertie The Bus

A hybrid of both the themes used for 'Trust Thomas' and 'Edward, Trevor & the Really Useful Party'. The second variant is the more interesting of the two, there's a low string section and some woodwinds that enter the 2nd half of the theme which makes the theme sound more grand. O'Donnell did state that Edward's Theme was inspired by a classic piece and this variant really shows that in my opinion,

Edward the Blue Engine's Theme (Series 3)

Ok, time to bring the big guns out. This is based on an idea that Mike O'Donnell had when they were going to do Series 3. They were going to redo the theme song with new instrumentation, which is understandable but the original still bangs undeniably.

This is kinda inspired by Mike's new mix of the theme, Thomas' Anthem and Isaiah's fantastic rendition. I wanted to make it feel like S3 by using the xylophone on the lead and keeping the arrangement faithful to the original. The Prophet Horns come in so handy for the iconic 'Closing' section. Still kept the Jupiter for the whistle though layered with the DX7 Calliope patch for texture.

Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends Theme - ITSO S3-5 Reconstruction

A little extension of Bertie's Theme from 'Thomas Gets Bumped' to fit more of the length of the Series 2 version with some extra instrumentation to make it feel more like a 'Series 3' remix, using the old synth recording with the Proteus kit layered on top.

A collaboration between Tuggie and Myself, I asked him for his MIDI's of the opening Piano of the song and I did the main part, I asked him for this for the sake of getting this done quickly, I'd like to thank him so much for that favour. This version is only short mainly because this was only done as part of a video on my channel.

Anyways, here's something new from yours truly. I think this is my favorite arrangement of Gordon's Theme. I'm not quite sure what it is, but it just sounds so cool and grand. It sure was fun to arrange. Enjoy!
