Nothing too much changed here apart from Instrument choice, the transcription is pretty much the same. I like the HiT music in a way that it's well written but it's so bland compare to the quality of Mike and Junior's music though but then if I try to place it in another show, then it doesn't work lol.

Here is the classic Danger Theme from 'Thomas' remixed in the style of the music from the 3rd series. 

An interesting thing about the third series is that you can tell a lot of the music is arranged to match the style of Series 1 and 2 (Gordon, Thomas, Duck, Henry and parts of Percy's Crash Theme) using the cabasa to carry the rhythmic side of the tracks with and still keeping the arrangements somewhat simple which is what I've done here. There are also the more orchestral pieces with themes like Oliver's or the Henry's Forest score.
Let's not forget the OG synth tracks with the Proteus layered on top but that's another topic.

I made the first portion of this theme ages ago and then completely forgot to upload it. I rediscovered it recently and although it sounded  nice it was missing a lot to make the theme "whole". So I got to work last night and finished feeling satisfied. I thought this was a good idea tbh. I do like the original S3 Busy Theme but the original just has this really 'heavy engines hauling in the yard' thing going on to it. The heavier percussion really sells that so well, impeccable sound design on M&J's part. So with an example mashup of what this was supposed to sound like (to some degree), I took some creative license to make the S3 counterpart more faithful to the S1 mix. While still keeping S3's cartoony sound with the woodwinds and xylophone, I wanted the backing to least stay faithful to the original. I always thought the rolling flute in the back represented the wheels (I dunno lol).

I made this over the short span of a day and it’s supposed to be pretty simple while incorporating some tid bits from Thomas and the Trucks. Overall I think that I am proud of my work, hopefully you all like it just as much as I do! Thank you for your continued support!

Thomas' Mainline Travels

I've been contemplating why I prefer songs in major keys when sometimes things feel so heavy and sad to me. I've come to realize that I want to create music that transports me -and my listeners- to a fantasy world that can be an escape for us all. A place where the grass is green and the sunshines. Sometimes there's quirky 8-Bit and 16-Bit beeps and boops and other times there are pianos and strings... and sometimes there are full blown rock bands! Today, I found out that my grandpa passed away. As I was on a walk, I saw an older couple sitting on their back patio. The man looked like he was taking a break from mowing the lawn and the woman was just happy to be hanging out with him during his break. They were having iced tea or something. This reminded me so much of how my grandma and grandpa both spent their time together. They had lawn chairs that they'd often put side by side on their driveway and just say "hello" to passersby. My grandpa had a stash of dog treats that he kept for a stretch of time and made friends with the neighborhood canines as well. Anyways, that couple that I saw on my walk reminded me of earlier years when both my grandparents were in better health. My grandpa always enjoyed spending time in his garden and taking care of the yard -and a very impressive garden and yard they had! So, I guess tonite's composition is an orchestral instrumental piece called "Sunshine in the Garden". Thanks for all the good times, Gpa!
