Blending tech house, breaks, and minimal techno, this set channels the city’s contrasts — from hazy rooftops to underground basements, from sunrise beaches to dark, driving rooms. Resident wayfarers Sparrow & Barbossa return to MoBlack Records, along with one of the label's reigning songstresses, Nomvula and Goya-nominated griot Cherif Badua on strings. Proponents of immersive sonic voyages, the musical storytellers propel even deeper with Nomvula’s lyrical prowess and the Kora maestro's permeating strums at the crux. A gift that keeps on giving, 'Amore Profondo' is complemented with three distinctive reinterpretations by a cast of talented remixers. Starting off, Mpumalanga’s Caiiro revels in the ubiquity of 'Amore Profondo' at first beat, drifting its lush vocals into mesmeric rhythms and rapturous melodies. Mozambican artists Breeze and the Sun and Neil Amarey join in to deliver a compelling rendition that marries riveting instrumentals, spirited Afro grooves and transcendent plangencies. Milan's Ivory helms the dark side of 'Amore Profondo,' undulating robust basslines through sharp syncopations, incisive timbre and esoteric nuances - voltaic but 'amore' nonetheless. Rounding out the EP, the original mix gleams with luminous harmonic stratas. A mélange of sensual Latin instruments, vigorous drum patterns and tender melodies, 'Amore Profondo' is a lasting dancefloor ballad that echoes eternal solace through faith, requited devotion through grace, and redemption through soul-driven motion. A radio edit completes the series.

Now based in San Francisco, SAGMO brings that same energy and depth to every set. Over the last five years, SAGMO has brought his signature energy to clubs and events across Tel Aviv and San Francisco.

His style blends uplifting house, acid, techno, minimal, breakbeat, and indie dance—all from a distinctly alternative perspective.

Having played alongside the likes of Red Axes, Josh Baker, Adam Ten, and OMRI., SAGMO has carved out a reputation for delivering high-energy sets that seamlessly blend different sounds driving the energy and movement of the dance floor. His style draws from the legacy of labels like Strictly Rhythm, Defected, and Nervous Records, inspired by pioneers and tastemakers such as Frankie Knuckles, Jamie Jones, and Red Axes.
