Chirpcast to end the year is by La Serpiente - a side project by Rotterdam based italian sonic explorer, producer and live performer Marco Segato. He's the co-founder of Rete Neurale Milano E.S.T. and Empty Signal Transmission series curator.
During the last years he released his music under different monikers (La Serpiente, MS, Narvalos) on labels such as XCPT Music, Random Numbers, Communion Records, Dionysian Mysteries, Vastechoses etc. as well as on many solidarity compilations. His most recent release is cassette on Sons Of Traders Records 'DHIKR' as NARVALOS, a duo project with Alessio Costantino (aka Askmeaboutdogs).
Marco takes us on a druggy exotic trip throughout new and old tracks in an eclectic manner, mixing in quite a few of his own creations. Lose your skin!

4ème chambre d'inquiétude W/ Mathilde Proy & Eloi Petillon (21/01/25)

Mangruv is the artistic brainchild of Alek Kurniawan, an Amsterdam-based drummer, sound engineer, and producer from Jakarta, Indonesia. Combining his passion in traditional rhythm rudiments and steadfast experimentation in sounds, his sound balances introspective depth with a steady, grooving rhythm. In his music you can find organic themes in terms of sound texture as well as approach. That can mean recorded sounds instead of programmed sounds, but the aspect of making or performing these sounds live is what gives it its own aura. In this mix, he focusses on creating an emotional narrative in a form of either ambient, experimental, deep techno or all of it combined.

His main inspiration at the moment comes from artists who perfected almost one-to-one niche to their music and arts. “When I saw Lukas De Clerck live at Meakusma, I could feel how dedicated and sincere the expression was. That, to me, is more moving than simply listening to a favorite artist.” 

This mix is one you can return to time and time again, uncovering new layers and details within its composition.

forlorn, a Copenhagen-based DJ, is characterized by a distinctive sound that fuses deconstructed ambient textures with dub-influenced elements. her sets are a journey through electronic music, blending percussive, breakbeat, and bass-driven rhythms spiked with an experimental edge. she has contributed to creative projects including the record labels REIW and Katla To Records, and is a resident DJ at Malmö’s Retreat Radio.
