SAGROS is consolidated in 2024 as one of the most important Thrash Metal acts in Cali Colombia, thanks to its powerful live performances throughout the national territory. The band has been working since 1997 with the intention of doing Thrash Metal with classic roots, influenced mainly by representative European bands, mixing the speed and hardness of the riffs of the 80's, but with touches of the 90's.

Humanism is the ideology that SAGROS has adopted as its main axis for lyrical composition. Our lyrics speak of our vision of man as creator and destroyer of all that exists, his perception of life and death, his achievements and defeats, good and evil, his deepest fears and all the chaos, desolation and the confusion it can cause. Based on our own experiences, we build a self-criticism or reflection on our very existence that can become, depending on the circumstances and the path chosen, pleasantly harmonious or, on the contrary, tragically STORMY.

In Gaza / Ukraine / Russia and the rest of the conflicted world, people die - day in day out, we as a human race could care a bit more.

The raging wars serve as a catalyst for the lyrics in most of the existing and upcoming songs. It seems that killing each other is the only way forward as written in the lyrics on the song - The Violent Ones. 

The human suffering is beyond belief, it needs to END now. War Metal as I see it, is to write lyrics about the insanity of war and not to forget those who died ... 

These are some of the dark layers of life

TAPATORA name has multiple meanings. It is an ancient name for a male that was mainly used in Finland. It is also the name of an island near Tampere and if you translate it in English, it means kill the quarrel / dispute / wrangle.

Savage Destruction is the current project of songwriter/producer Gabe S. Savage Destruction's sound comes from classic American OSDM, with a twist of the contemporary streets.  Influenced heavily by Infant Annihilator, TBDM, Sanguisugabogg, 200 Stab Wounds, Analepsy, Devourment, Immortal, Cannibal Corpse, Mithotyn, Dying Fetus, and the likes. Savage Destruction is the meanest dirtiest god damned dog in the entire wretched junk yard. S.D. relies on cave man like riffage, relentlessly punishing drumming, and a "No Hope" attitude, leaving even the biggest cynic saying 'That Grooves!'. A Mean, ugly, dumb, mutant is Savage Destruction. S.D.'s deranged godless sound is the soundtrack to the end of days we find ourselves living in. OOGA BOOGA!
