CVRL feat Karin Park - the first single on new Swedish imprint Rubra Sound.

Get ready to be absorbed by the deep bass, serene melodies, sharp production and the powerful voice of singer and artist Karin Park.

With a background in producing house and techno CVRL began to create different vibes a few years ago. The result has led to his own melody drenched hip hop inspired electronica.

CVRL’s two tracks will take you on a emotional rollercoaster ride. His drama driven cinematic landscapes paired with intricate details well matches his post rave era influences. There is a bit of wave with a slight hint of trap, hip hop and electronica and the end result is emotions captured in a warped technicolour bubble.

” - I just love her voice, it’s as simple as that”. Says CVRL about the collaboration with Karin Park on Elysian Fields. ” – We talked about what we wanted to do and I had a track that I thought would be perfect and then Karin added her fantastic characteristic voice and passion to the song.”

Uncover You is, as the song title suggests, is the birth of a new chapter for Fairlane; this first single marks the unveiling of a unique side of the project that hasn’t yet been presented to the public. Having the chance to work alongside singer/ songwriter Ilsey was a unique opportunity that opened my mind to a different perspective/ approach to production and composition. The topline struck a particular chord, one which invoked a feeling I’d felt had been missing from my typical creative approach, and allowed me to experiment with a direction I’d always wanted to take the project. Through the use of acoustic instrumentation, mainly acoustic and electric guitars, and soft synth design, I was able to create a soundscape that matched the emotion behind Ilsey’s writing, and finished with a song that I’m very proud of.
