I had the honor of helping close out the party at Sandy Beats on the river bank at Sandy Beach with my brother Otter as Break of Dawn. Did a little tag team and then I played the last hour and a half or so solo. Now...there are a few mixes I would like to take back as it was 7AM and I was drinking tequila straight out the bottle at that point. LOL That being said this set definitely represents the vibe I contribute to our Break of Dawn collaboration. These sunrise sets are some of my favorite to play as I get to dive into some deeper records that don't normally work for a peak hour dance floor set. Club Beach Vol 13- Beach Radio (09.23)

So I took this picture of my son Elias and I a while back and thought it would make for a nice design for a mix session, did some editing then decided to put a mix together to fit the vibe of the design and this session is what came out. I think it's one of my most moving and diverse mix compositions thus far, spent a lot of time on it and truly put in my best effort to have it represent the artwork. The session rolls through some techy stuff, a fair amount of atmospheric, some jungly drums, a nice mix of uplifting tunes with a bit of a classic feel as well as a smooth section of rollers, finishing off with a couple soulful tunes from Gravity and Duoscience. "Resilient Echoes: A Journey Through Shadows and Light" is a DJ mix/soundscape that encapsulates the emotional rollercoaster of overcoming grief and the profound process of reflecting on life.

This mix serves as a poignant expression of the raw emotions experienced during times of loss and the subsequent journey towards healing and self-discovery. I put it together to serve as a therapeutic medium. It acts as a guiding light, encouraging introspection, self-reflection, and ultimately, the discovery of inner strength and resilience. It serves as a reminder that even amidst the darkest moments, there is always a glimmer of hope and the potential for growth.

This mix is the result of my journey overcoming the loss of my brother last June. I started making it in times of darkness, as a means to express my emotions, and it grew over time into its current form. I never made it with the intention of anyone else hearing it, but somehow felt compelled to let others do so now.

As a DJ this is a how I tell a story, of loss and life, told the way I feel comfortable telling.

This is best experienced being present, in a quiet place, with headphones
