With a modus operandi that digs deep into Lampung’s traditional vibes, stirs in Jamaican dub flavors, splashes of punky-reggae-stylee, and poetic energy—Roadblock Dub Collective, a duo from Lampung, crafts a raw, rooted, and unpredictable sound where ancestral echoes collide with global basslines.

Over the years, Roadblock Dub Collective has caught the attention of dub enthusiasts far beyond Indonesia. From Colombia to Cyprus, the U.S. to Portugal, and most recently France, their tracks have landed on respected global labels like InBassion Records, Dandada Records, Dubophonic, and Culture Dub. Their sound pulses across borders—no translation needed.

They kicked things off in 2009 with ‘Youth Culture’, a local club favorite. In 2017, ‘Dutty Bizness’ marked their international debut. The momentum continued with a wave of releases in 2020: ‘Sepinggungan/Russ’ (featuring Terranova Waksman & Oddateeee), ‘Echo Chamber’ by Dr. Strangedub, and ‘Dubrüderschaft – Series 1’ in 2021. That same year, they unleashed a fiery single ‘Vibe Up’ with the Philippines’ high-octane songstress, Lady I. Their EP ‘Suwarna Dub’ dropped via Dubophonic, followed by their crowning achievement—their debut full-length album ‘Magna Ragom’, released by France's Culture Dub in 2024.

Now, they’ve teamed up to honor the 25th anniversary of Javabass Soundsystem, the trailblazer that helped shape Indonesia’s Drum ‘n’ Bass scene and inspired generations through the dancefloors across the nation.
