Murder Pop is a Philly-based alt synth-pop trio that melds together the smooth, synth-driven rhythms of the 1980s with acid lyric hooks and big guitars. Murder Pop is catchy, upbeat, true-crime inspired story-telling, perfect for the party, drive, or workout playlist. It’s a little dark, a little glam, and a little wild.

Philip Tamney, Brendan Stallard, and Matt Gari moonlight the project, operating out of their home-studio rigs in Philly’s Kensington neighborhood. They have only recently begun releasing their work in collaboration with Philly sound engineer Ian Scheila, and it’s available on all major streaming platforms.
