لالایی در گیلان با واژه ی " گاره سری " به معنای آوازی که سر گهواره می 
خوانند ، شناخته می شود
این یکی از اصیل ترین نمونه های لالایی نسبت به لالایی های جلگه و گیلان در اطراف انزلی و ضیابَر است.
