It’s meant to sound messy, a mix of an upbeat drum track, not dissimilar from a clock, heavy distortion and harmonized vocals. All of this to cause a stir of anxiety and unease within the listener.

Dubbed Enemy

This song started kind of as a parody on country music, then it was an actual country/bluegrass song that I enjoyed, and then a few more genre changes to this here, my favorite, a Porto-punk-esque in a way paying homage to The Violent Femmes.

It’s about a life of constant bad luck 
Trying to do the best and right thing only to end up alone and easily forgotten.
