Oshana's first EP release with Brouqade is reminiscent of summer and good times past.  REMINISCE opens with the soulful monologue, "I don't write love songs".  A rhythmical gem is transformed into a colorful crescendo of evolving synth notes and chugging percussion. An enchanting love story transcends the limits of time beyond the seasons to come. 
Wiping away the melancholy, Alejandro Vivanco builds his Remix around an organic bassline core - patient and to the point. 
The emotional finale of the EP begins with pads which take hold of you while the percussion leads you on an endless journey. The deep house groove of this track is bound to demand the attention of house lovers and techno fanatics alike. 
The complex rhythmic structure of Dana Ruh's remix punctuates the sultry atmosphere, created straight for the dance floor!

The latest in a run of impressive Anjunadeep debuts comes from New York based Londoner Rashid Ajami, in the form of "Coming For You".

Showcasing Rashid's ear for deep, emotive melodies, "Coming For You" is a deft voyage through sweeping strings and strong percussion, topped off brilliantly by the soulful vocals of Rich Trent. 

Jody Wisternoff beefs things up on his remix, which was a memorable moment in his "Anjunadeep 05" mix. Punchy breakbeat drums and trademark Wisternoff jungle-influenced soundscapes add a new dimension to Ajami's original. Jody maintains hints of the melancholic melodies, whilst rough and ready low-end add an old school ravey flavour.

Rashid Ajami - Coming For You (Jody Wisternoff Remix)

In hour 2 it's Jabru from the west country and one half of Bruh Jackman (along with Hackman).  Musically it's across the spectrum with hip hop from Lootpack, Saul Williams and Ghostface Killah, before moving up into house territory with Hackman, the Paul Woolford rework for T Williams and classic UK Garage from Wookie. We take it down again with Digital Mystikz and Roberta Flack, then Turbulence into DJ Food, Outkast and ending with the beautiful Get Thy Bearings by Donovan. All this plus his own tracks Glass Floor from the first Sound Of The Cosmos EP (the VIP featured in the mix can be downloaded from XLR8R), Whiteboard Jungle which is going to be on JD Twitch (Optimo)'s Bucky Skank label later in the year and look out for the Calling Card EP coming soon on his own Paradise Club Recordings.
