Somehow the DJ's name Lumieux was evolved from the dubbiest and darkest corners of the underground to a surprisingly deep and lighted techno. Short bio:
Suinyl is an enigmatic and down-to-Earth DJ/producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. After years rocking the local scene through diverse events and festivals, he caught the attention of the Innovant booking agency. His dedicated efforts into music production led him to release among his peers on Musica Lunar (Argentinean compilation), Psyche Records, and on international labels such as Soblazn, fratii.ro and Rockets Audio only to name a few. He also showcased his unique sound through a live set for Minimadelic Records. Recently, his first vinyl release on Curtea Veche made a lot of waves and we can only expect more to come!

Description:
The artist delivers a rhythmic beginning with fantastic low-end and glitches. A vocal percussion adds to the abstract atmosphere until a huge gong hit with an uncertain pitch makes the starting signal. Another stretched vocal reminds us of spatial communication, and that’s exactly where Suinyl leads us—to space. The audience then floats on delicious atonal frequencies, refined and trippy patterns, almost with a spooky note.
The ferocious omnipresent groove seems unstoppable, powerful like a torrent. The organic elements contrast with robotic and metallic popping sounds, and also with crazy instrument notes that blossom at different levels in the sonic dimension. At some point, a very funky micro-house tune makes an apparition, and blends into a beautiful sung vocal that reminds Amy Winehouse. Repeated words play a big part in this set and naturally create a state of trance in the listener’s mind.
With his precise, dynamic, and seamless narrative, Suinyl gives a unique performance that pushes the boundaries of sound design and abstract atmospheres, all while allowing randomness to step in and spice up the mix.

For our 30th edition, we have a special own production mix by the talented Alex Ungureanu. We are happy to have him back after he served us an incredible 4-track EP in February (IMP004). He did not sit still this year and made a collaboration track with Hipp on the vinyl label Kontent. Besides he has released on Capucine Records and it will not be his last release of the year. Keep an eye out! 

Alex presents us with a 1-hour set filled with solely his own productions. It gives us a good projection of what he has been working on. He used unreleased as well as released bits, in order to make a smooth set. Expect deep and dark sounds, dreamy elements and rollin grooves, all made on the Alex Ungureanu way.
