The middle of this summer surprises our states with a fresh set from the Sound Symptoms podcast series.

This time, the sounds are perfectly played by our guest, Julian. Describing him, he is a fully formed artist, DJ and producer, and a vinyl lover. He is the owner of Eliptic Records label, a project drawn together with his partner Fengda Carissa, and he is one of the Club Guesthouse residents.
In 2015, he released his first vinyl “Chorale” and since then his work was transformed into stories on vinyl which were released at Subtil Records, Toolooop Records, Eliptic Records, just to name a few.

Julian’s dedication to the music and his skills are turned into unique sounds. All of these allow him to create catchy moments on the dancefloor by delivering the spicy vibes desired by the crowd.

Over the past few years, Leeds-based producer and DJ Oscar Jones has been in the studio developing and refining his sound, blending influences from the Romanian and UK minimal scenes which can be heard in his latest releases with Tranquil, Duboka and Below Records. Oscar has also proven himself as a competent DJ and avid digger, bringing his unique selections of stripped-back rolling minimal to support the likes of Traumer, Jasper James and Laidlaw.

The EP opens with "Raw Motion", a deep and driving house groover shaped by vibrant strings, warm chords, and rolling beats, setting everything in motion from the very first bar. Equally captivating is the second track, "You", where smooth synth pads blend seamlessly with versatile, energetic percussive drums and dub infused chords, creating a beautifully immersive atmosphere.
