We sincerely admire his deep approach and understanding of styles and are happy to share this two-hour mix with all of you!

"Hello, friends! I was super happy to be asked to do this mix, as the Ukrainian scene and its people are very dear to my heart. Dima asked me for a mix to represent my take on the breakbeat sound as we enter into this new year. I've always felt that breaks can be a versatile and wide-reaching genre, and I’ve tried to explore some of that in this mix.

There are organic, percussive tracks, florida acid, electro and techno ingredients, some reggae, grime, and hip-hop elements, deep rollers, melancholic, melodic bangers, shroomy mind expanders, and plenty of rib cage rattling bass. Just the breakbeat that I love, basically. A few old ones in there but plenty of the new including my new single “Eternal Lids” which is the third single off my upcoming album, “Absolute Melt” which drops on March 1st on OUT YER BOX @out-yer-box. This is a re-recorded set from the Fuchs2 (Prague) Season Opening on 7 September 2024. I had the honour of playing the opening set on the Bike Jesus "Bass Freaks" stage, marking my first performance as a resident of the club. I had a lot of fun. Since the original mix was not recorded live, I decided to reconstruct it while it was still fresh in my mind.

If the first hour of new tracks has a few references to 90s rave production, the second hour is a real rave ride. Wildboy Raveboy (Roots'n'Future Soundsystem), who owns a collection of original rave vinyls from 91-93 and is a real teacher of electronic music history, came to the studio as a guest. His set was a real history lesson. And he didn't come by chance, because Mark Archer aka Altern 8 is coming to Prague. Mark is a pioneer of the rave sound who has inspired several generations of producers and DJs. We'll see you all on the dance floor.
