- Text: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ - In the Name of Allāh, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
- The meaning of the word ‘basmalah’ and clarification regarding the meaning of ‘mufti’. 
- The reason the author began with the basmalah. 
- Examples of the Messenger ﷺ beginning with the basmalah in his letters to the kings and leaders of his time.
