- First principle - to concern oneself with seeking knowledge
- Second Foundation - Having eagerness and zeal to apply this knowledge
- Third Foundation - Calling to Allah up on knowledge
- Fourth Foundation - To be concerned with the Aqeedah of the Salaf in terms of knowledge, action and teaching it.
