- The first step on the road back from sin: Understanding that Allāh is the Most Merciful.
- Āyāt from the Book of Allāh regarding His Mercy.

- The second step: Recognising that we do not know where or when we will die.
- How ‘Abdullāh b. ‘Umar (رضى الله عنهما) implemented the advice of the Prophet ﷺ.

- The reward for having patience upon the death of a child.

[31/01/2025] Du'ā - A Great Act of Worship Beloved to Allāh - By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

– The great status and nobility of the act of worship: Dua
– Allah تعالى says: And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad ‎ﷺ) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). Surah Baqarah (2):186
– How does Allah تعالى answer the Dua?
