Aroma Pitch Recordings the third! The DJ Trio and Live-Act finished their third EP on APR and it's ready to get the plays it deserves. With this one the boys have reached a new level of production and maturity. Three tracks full of twists and turns making this a perfect kickstart for a timeless summer.

"Moments In Limbo" delivers a heavy bassdrum and moody chords combined with raw analogue drumsounds and a synthline to wrap your head around. "Up & Down" comes around way trickier and combines tweaked synth sounds with an intelligent drum programming and an acidic bassline. Until a dub chord hits you from behind and takes you all the way back. "Voyager Dub" is clearly an hommage to early dubtechno. Spacious sounds, long delays and an impelling hi-hat that won't let you go makes this the hidden gem on this EP. As soon as the Pad kicks in you are all gone to another sphere.

On A2 the eponymous track ‘Plastic Worlds’ is a journey into Balearic sounds, perfectly arriving in time for warm summer days. ‘Kropssprog’ elegantly references the masters of Italian dream house, with deep atmospheric soundscapes.‘Desert Days’ is a moody crossover into electronic pop music, featuring his own vocals.

Parisian gentleman La Mverte returns on Her Majesty’s Ship (Charlotte Decroix & David Shaw’s label, also hometown of DBFC, Yan Wagner or David Shaw & The Beat), two years after his debut album ’The Inner Out’. Originally bass player in some small punk bands, he was revealed to the world with his electronic solo project as Red Bull Music Academy alumni. His passion for cryptic synths and cinematic cold wave are once again revealed with this new tune, featuring vocals from French electro-pop singer Theodora. Part of the third volume of ‘Unpopular Music’ Various series, this new EP also includes tracks from Lulùxpo & Justine.

The world outside was full of black and ominous clouds with a sordid weight and a heavy presence. It was not a nice time, the world was going through a rough patch and the youth were paying the cost. It was no surpise that they spent most of their time looking for a space which was not so dark. One which would allow them to be free, easy and themselves. Some place where they could dance endlessly and love one another in a way they weren't able outside. This was the underground, it was more than a room. 

Adult Fiction is a new artist and label project based in Belfast. The music is club focussed and inspired by a longstanding legacy of rave culture within the city. This is the debut EP.

Parisian Versatile Records continues to release serie of dubs to Etienne Jaumet's - '8 Regards Obliques' LP which was launched exactly one year ago 1st November 2018.
After Dubs Vol. 1 where I:Cube and DJ Sotofett were the main protagonists, Versatile offering you Vol. 2 of this 7" serie with dub rework from Etienne Jaumet's himself and Belgian, Brussels hero, 50% of Front De Cadeaux - Maurizio Athome AKA DJ ATHOME, who took the original and turn it into slow paced analogue jam with a club vox which although distant is also soothing, like the spiraling disembodied spirit you can hear in the dark room. This track has Duke Ellington base although there is still a sense of menace deep down between the kick drums and the bass.
The dub is exactly the sort of track you want to hear on the radio before you go out,  as you climb into the centre of the dancefloor with your couple and will stay with you long after the last note plays out, much like the end credits on the soundtrack to a tense spy movie.
