'Pop It Off' is the third single from The Prototypes forthcoming debut album ‘City Of Gold’ on Viper Recordings, available from the 3rd May, with the album dropping 2 weeks later on 17th May 2015.

‘Pop It Off’ features the distinct vocals of Trinidad and Toboggan artist, Mad Hed City (aka Kerwin Prescott). In typical Prototypes dance-floor anthem style, this one is sure to become a DJ's favourite. Twisted baselines and sharp beats are topped off with a dancehall vocal that will have the ravers skanking.

The package also comes backed with a remix from hotly tipped Black Butter artist Jaded. The Jaded remix uses to the awesome Mad Hed City to great effect by dropping the pitch and reworking the original elements into a bass house banger!

Just a mere two months ago, up-and-coming twerk enthusiasts Bad Royale released not only their second EP as a quartet ever but also their first official EP with Buygore in Welcome to the Badlands. With insane features such as Ragga Twins, Richie Loop among others, adding a spicy touch to every track, they are at it again, bringing back those dancehall-moombah-twerk-bass vibes (or better known as what they dubbed 'Kingstep') in their Quest of the Magi EP, out now for purchase. 
 
Without a second to waste, you're met by Clinton Sky, hyping up the EP as you nose dive into a 808-laden drop, as Sky's vocals carry you through heavy kicks and quick snares in "Bounce With Me". Your then lead into "Real Ruff Stuff", filled with energetic snares and dynamic synths, this paired with the infamous Ragga Twins, makes for a lethal dose of energy not for the faint hearted. There is no slowing down, as Bad Royale gives their own rendition of the classic New Orleans bounce style in "$hakebox", featuring Fly Boi Keno, as they take a turn for the 'twerk' and leave no body unmoving. Bringing reggae-dancehall and even moombahton vibes to light, General Jah Mikey takes the stage in "De Policeman" with high intensity, alongside Bad Royale who shows no mercy in their production. Wrapping up this already relentless EP is "Feeling It", a mantra for all those heavier bass lovers out there - the passion from Goldie Gold perfectly coin with the explosive drop, truly showcasing Bad Royale's talent in sound design as well as production as a whole.

It's only been a year and it's obvious Bad Royale isn't slowing down anytime soon. Scope them out as they have a handful of new music set to release by the end of the year and as they embark on their first tour alongside Borgore and Styles&Complete.

Salaryman is a cornerstone of the French Drum&Bass scene. 

After 4 years spent exclusively behinds the decks playing throughout France alongside the biggest D&B names, he started producing in 2006. And since then his aim stays the same: develop his own approach to Drum&Bass by blending genres influential to himself, mainly Reggae, Trance, Funk, Trip Hop, Rock, Hip Hop & Jazz. That's certainly why he's nowadays renowned as an eclectic artist, not limiting his skills to the boundaries of just one style. 

2008 was the year when his talent began to be noticed, with first signings on a selection of labels and support from a number of big artists. Then 2012 marks his position as one of the most talented newcomers, with releases on worldwide-known labels such as Fokuz, Citrus and Celsius. The year after, he entered legendaries J Majik & Wickaman's seminal imprint; Infrared.

The upper level was reached in 2014, when he signed his first track on THE leading label in the Drum & Bass scene: Ram Records. On 2015, he came back to Ram (and its sister label ProgRam) and also entered another D&B superstar label: Technique. Then 2 years later happened the landmark event of his career so far: the release of his own single on Ram! This ability to reach the biggest imprints in the game proves that he's now a well established artist.  

Featuring alongside Bass Music heavyweights such as Sub Focus, Chase & Status and Drumsound & Bassline Smith, his tracks are supported by the biggest stars in the scene, aired on national radios and reach the D&B top seller charts. And the best is yet to come as loads of new releases are already in the pipeline. So keep an eye on him, you won't be disappointed.
