Defected Records favourite Sam Divine launched her own D-Vine Sounds in 2014, with chart success following almost immediately. To date, the label has achieved 3 Traxsource numbers 1s, as well as countless top 10s. With a roster of exciting, up and coming artists, backed by support from some of the most respected tastemakers in the industry, as well as a forthcoming tour to destinations including Ibiza, Italy, Bulgaria and the Domincan Republic, the next natural step is to expand our musical offering.

This year sees Sam extended the label with the launch of Soul D-vine. Drawing on various influences and genres, they felt they needed to build a platform to showcase a sound that awakens the soul and groove that is deep within us all. Driven by big vocals, soulful instrumentals and paying homage to the pioneers that raised us, Soul D-vine will deliver a fresh take on a classic sound. Casey Spillman, is an exception to the rule & no stranger to the D-Vine Sounds camp. Already an established artist on the house scene with releases on Audio Rehab, Morganic, Chief & D-Vine Sounds, Casey has just thrown in a game changer on the soulful tip.

To celebrate the launch of the new label we invited Sam to join the Data Transmission podcast this week, a very long over due first mix on our main series and we are seriously excited to have her.

Saliva Commandos is the stage name of George Aponte, a DJ and producer based in New York City. He has been active in the music industry for over two decades, starting off as a DJ in the underground house scene in the mid-1990s.
Saliva Commandos' sound is heavily influenced by Latin and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, as well as the classic sounds of New York house music. He has released music on a variety of labels, including Nervous Records, Strictly Rhythm, and his own imprint, IN:COMMAND Records.
In addition to his work as a producer, Saliva Commandos is also a skilled DJ who has played at numerous clubs and events around the world. He is known for his energetic and eclectic sets that blend together different genres and eras of music.
Saliva Commandos has collaborated with a number of other artists over the years, including Roger Sanchez, Ron Carroll, and Robbie Rivera. He has also remixed tracks for a wide range of artists, such as Robbie Rivera & Ultra Nate.
Overall, Saliva Commandos is a respected figure in the underground house music community, known for his innovative productions and electrifying DJ sets.
