Two associate fellows of the RNDM, Wellew and Etrigan, brought their collaborative effort to home label and steaming with licks of old-school rave, whiplash acid, big-room euphoria, and signature freakiness approach. Made after years of friendship, a series of b2b DJ sets and lifelong musical kinship, ‘Who I Am’ is a split between two soulmates who lost their uniqueness in the infinite process of brotherhood sounds cross-pollination. During a recording session of the EP, Wellew and Etrigan discovered that their tracks sounded almost identically and tried to reinvent themselves to find their true personal sound.

Starting with the sick and twisted acidic anthem 'Who I Am' Wellew fulfills all your emotional and physical needs and continues to explore the same playful demeanor throughout big-room stomper 'My Harmony'. On the flip side, Etrigan establishes his vision and asserts his style with hi-nrg hardcore and jacking trance-infused rave, making them perfect for lifting the energy on any dancefloor.

San Regret - Sharks On Acid

Barro Music Label continues its commitment to the hardest and darkest techno with their latest release, an EP from NX1. We would need a lot of space to describe what NX1 is all about, suffice it to say that this Barcelona-based project by Surit and Samot has been blowing up sound systems and keeping us dancing to exhaustion for years. Under this alias, they've released on premier labels like Bite and Earwiggle, alongside their own imprint, Nexe Records. Their latest offering on Barro features four original tracks plus a remix by Nöle. This won't be the last time we see these artists together, as they've joined forces to launch a new label, Kätte, which has already dropped its first release.
BR1 delivers a powerful post-apocalyptic industrial techno track, dominated by a deafening bass drum and showcasing exceptional sound design. The following two tracks lean more toward straightforward techno while exemplifying NX1's harder, darker side. BR2 is a hypnotic composition featuring industrial, razor-sharp sounds, demolishing bass drum, and skin-deep bass. Just when you think it couldn't get any harder, along comes BR3. NX1 reaches new levels of intensity in this track, characterized by saturated synthesizers, aggressive sound design, and a commanding vocal sample demanding obedience. The fourth track sees them dialing back the BPMs to craft an industrial atmosphere that evokes images of desolate highways and abandoned cities. Nöle's contribution comes in the form of a remix of BR2, highlighting the vocal samples while playing with the rhythm to create yet another dancefloor banger.

"Thresholds" is the first Sal Solaris solo album in 15 years marked by a variety of collaborations, splits and minor releases. From a musical point of view this is probably the most complex and certainly the most rhythmic work of the duo which opens a new chapter in its history.

The Sun radiates and cools down. Mountains erode and grind into sand. Any system tends to minimum energy and maximum entropy, that is to uniformity. But while chaos does not reign yet, the universe is a complex thermodynamic landscape filled with low grounds and peaks, ridges and valleys. To go from one valley to another we need a breakthrough. As when a match boosts energy to let reagents gain ability to cross the threshold, and continue to roll freely and independently.

"Thresholds" is an acoustic study of a breakthrough over the threshold. Therefore the album constantly crosses genre limits. The listener is taken from a thicket of dark techno to a rave meadow, and in the middle of dark ambient wasteland he or she gets thrust against a rock of minimal electro.

"Thresholds" is also an attempt to answer the question of what may be a match in human life situations. How to cross the pass, when the ridge is covered with clouds. The album can be regarded as a box of matches, or an experimental map of passes for those who feel confined in their valleys.

Sal Solaris - From Now to the New De Sitter Space (Ухушуху remix)

Sal Solaris is a Russian electronic duo working since late 1990s. Starting its experiments with autistic ambient, the project moved to dark techno fused with industrial noise and fury. Collaborators mention among sources of their inspiration science fiction and philosophical concepts such as psychoanalysis, and say they practice audiotherapy for 'broken cohesion of the world', propaganda of neoteny, inner and outer space conquest. Last years Sal Solaris play live a lot sharing the scene with such different projects like Ancient Methods and Bad Sector, Demdike Stare and Ambidextrous, Inade and SHXCXCHCXSH. Duo has releases on such labels as Cyclic Law, Hau Ruck!, Zhelezobeton, Kultfront etc. Last album 'Thresholds' appeared in 2016 at their own label NEN Records.
