Yeah - wooden torpedo shaped scraper. Easy to overdo but nice extra dimension when used sparingly

On what you mentioned about live. I'd imagine an acoustic and both your voices have a massive presence. Maybe consider percussion backing tracks to get youz in the flow and make it easier to get cracking and on stage. That's what I'm doing first. me am acoustic and the rest backing tracks

Hellllooo summer! We decided to stop sulking and try our hand at a more upbeat rock song. Alice may as well have donned a top hat, shades and bee-lined towards the nearest cliff for her violin solo! 
It’s a song about that buzz you get when you start writing music with other people, either for the first time - or in my case, the first time in a decade since having kids. It’s inspired by one of my all time favourite artists, the late Mark Lanegan and definitely some Beta Band influence creeps through. Hope you enjoy.
