Jakhira is a British-born, Belgium-based DJ and producer. A classicly trained musician with a heart that beats to a groove, his signature style is a melting pot of widespread influences. Take a trip with us to the French-speaking cultural capital of Canada, where we celebrate the Québécois way of life. To listen to his tale, we've decided to take a horse-drawn carriage ride around the cobblestone streets and grand buildings of Vieux-Montréal, giving us a European flavour in our mouths.

Tantum started his passion for music from a young age. Initially crafting music as a guitarist, he gained lots of instrumental experience before moving on to electronic music. Having honed his skills for nearly half a decade, his passion for electronic music stems from his love of soulful melodies through analog synths and driving grooves inspired by modern progressive house and techno.

After his 2020 debut on Guy J’s label Lost & Found, 2021 has proven to be even more fruitful with his second EP on Lost & Found, his debut collab single on Lane 8’s “This never Happened” label, and 4-track EP on Radikon. Not to forget many other records which have received great support among the scene. Despite the uncertain situation surrounding us these days, Tantum will be sure to continue the upward trajectory with lots of music yet to come.

His music, which has been released on labels like Lost & Found, Monaberry, Poker Flat Recordings, Einmusika (EIN2), Juicebox Music, Radikon, and Mango Alley continues to see steady support by the likes of Guy J, Lane 8, ZHU, Jonas Saalbach, Eelke Kleijn, Tim Engelhardt, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Ziger, Kasper Koman and many more.

Whether you catch him playing a live show or a DJ set, you will soon recognize that his distinct style between techno and house music will be an everlasting experience, filled with driving beats and euphoric moments.

It's Gin o'clock here and we're excited to welcome one of our favorites to the team. We've been following the work of Jelly For The Babies for a long time and are impressed by the consistent quality of his music, both, his own or released by one of his labels. 

It is said that hard times can forge a hard work ethic. For Jelly For The Babies, this is certainly the case. His first synthesizer was a Casio SA-20, and the 100 sound banks that it came with were enough to bring his attention towards music. 

Coming from the time of a severe economic crash in Serbia, as many of people in his country, he struggled for a better life, while learning the ins and outs of music production on his humble windows xp home computer. Over the years, he refined his approach, and the project “Jelly For The Babies” moniker pioneers what he calls a “candy flavored sound.”

The project was created in 2007 and represents a mostly deep, melodic and melancholic sound with plenty of vocals mixed up in various genres of electronic music. Besides producing, Jelly For The Babies is managing the labels One Of A Kind, The Purr Music and RYNTH.

Debuting with Nick Warren's label The Soundgarden this summer, Borella is a Toronto-based electronic music artist known for her melodically dynamic sound that mostly falls on the deeper side.
