This is SP.03 - RE/TUNE Istanbul by Surgeon @dynamic-tension (Live)

In 2014, we hosted Surgeon for the first time in Istanbul, at RE/TUNE Series. The night before the gig, access to twitter was blocked by Turkish Government. After Gezi Park Resistance, the unrest that shook Istanbul was still going on. We took Surgeon from his hotel and passed through the police barricades on Istiklal Street to reach the club. The night was a blast and now it's a pleasure for us to share this recording with you all. Enjoy! 

Presented by Vayb, RE/TUNE was a series of electronic music events, took place in various venues of Istanbul.

We are excited to host the Serbian-born producer, DJ and promoter of the underground culture, @lag. 
And this is how he expressed “Burek happiness” mix in his own words;

"There are several different styles of DJing and while I truly enjoy all of them, my absolutely favorite one is deriving musical value from contrasts between tracks (instead of the most common approach of locking down a mood and staying within it). I just did a four hour intro set last weekend on one of my Tehno Spoznaja parties. I don't often do intro sets so this helped get me in this zone of exploration where I took even bigger leaps while switching styles and moods. While it's faster and harder then what I played in the club, this mix feels like a natural continuation of my weekend adventure. Enjoy, and play it loud!"
