Love Injection is a New York music and culture monthly fanzine in print since February 2015, founded by DJs, archivists, and audio enthusiasts Paul Raffaele and Barbie Bertisch. Their namesake record label launched in 2020. Avid record and audio enthusiasts, Paul is also an art director and Barbie writes and performs music with various projects.

Born breach in the winter of 1999 Sam Fitzgerald was going backwards. His mother, a semi-professional wrestler called mum, and father, an artisanal paperclip salesman, were supportive of his decision to drop out of elementary school to follow his dream of becoming a professional triangle player. After 2.5 afternoons spent honing his skills he recorded his first EP “Equilateral Ting”, featuring debut single “Right Angle to my Heart”. The single-sided TDK cassette was well received by initial audiences - his grandmother Betty - but was panned by notoriously scathing critic, Nicola - his older sister. After discovering jungle music in the mid 90's he made several failed attempts to develop and popularise the “bass triangle”, before moving to Berlin to immerse himself in the modular triangel scene, where they were pioneering frequency isoscelesation. It didn't take long before the German capital's cheap and plentiful supply of Elderflower fizzy drinks led to a crippling addiction and he was forced to return home to Somalia, his wife. After a brief period working as roadie for a psychedelic accordian ensemble on their breakout tour of New Zealand's rural community halls, he spent time in Cuba serving as Fidel Castro's electoral campaign manager, head cigar roller and occasional family nanny.  He then sailed an optimist dingy through the Panama Canal and across the Pacific ocean to Japan where he passes the time tending to a small yet fruitful daikon radish garden, playing marbles, and collecting bubble-era Japanese country and western records. Next year he plans to build a rocket-car.
