This Endris Night (This Other Night)is an English 14th-15th century Christmas Carol. The song explores a series of questions between Mary and her baby Jesus. It is an unusually elegant and humorous song for the period, hence my jovial 6/8 rendition... complete with accordion backing!

Crooked Weather's second new single 'Hares on The Mountain' . A traditional piece, inspired by folk hero Davy Graham, but gone crooked.

The song tells a tale of women in pursuit of men, just as much as men in pursuit of women, though it's the headstrong protagonist, Sally, that made the song so appealing; Sally concludes the song, choosing schooling over young love. Holly's lilting vocals and Will's distorted guitar mirror this theme of men vs. women, juxtaposed yet harmonious.
