Aaron James is a household name in the world of Hard House. He is a Flex FM artist and has played all over the UK and is a regular favourite with some of the scenes' most established promotions, some of which have taken him overseas to places such as Ibiza, Kavos, Australia & New Zealand, whilst holding his residencies in the UK.

His career started within the Brixton underground circuit in 2007, and quickly acquired residencies for multiple promotions in the infamous but now closed Club 414. Off the back of these residencies he then started to get bookings further afield at promotions such as Frantic, Glow Ball & Twist which saw him journey beyond the underground Brixton & Vauxhall circuit, and lead him to playing the closing set of Judgement Sundays in Eden’s main room in Ibiza at the age of 18.

Being a massive vinyl junkie, Aaron is renowned for his abilities on the wheels of steel, even more so for some of his vinyl mixes (check out his soundcloud). 

He has had a plethora of releases on all of the industry’s top flight labels since he burst into the charts in 2013 including his own album (Toolbox Toolkit 19). He is now label manager of Toolbox Hammerheads, and has been producing under various different aliases over the last decade, including Forbidden Friends, Delinquents, JNR and BabzookaZ.

With DJ Skol, he has hosted the weekly Hard House Sunday Sessions show on Flex FM; which is London’s only legal Hard House dedicated radio show at 101.4 on the dial, with accredited listeners worldwide reaching as far as Japan, South Africa, United States and their down under crew in Australia & New Zealand. Throughout the years they have earned their personal sponsorship from Toolbox Digital Shop, the main music distributor within the Hard House scene, where they alternate a featured chart countdown of the best selling tracks from the preceding month/year within their shows on the airwaves.

Having finished his degree in sound engineering & music production at Point Blank, he is now focussing on his newest project… The Aaron James USB!!! Complete with his back catalogue of tracks and entire ‘mixography’, including all of his unreleased tunes and mixes, but also with fresh unheard material, where he puts into practice all that he has learnt in his degree and begins his journey engineering his own music.

With a recently launched label co-owned by herself and Andy Whitby entitled ‘Hard’ and a sensational new podcast introducing some fresh new female talent – ‘Girls Like it Hard’, there’s plenty of projects for her to sink her teeth into. Along with a line of merchandise, albums and events in preparation for these exciting new beginnings, she’ll also be focusing on signing new artists and of course spending some much needed time in the studio.&#13;

Wayne Smart is widely regarded as one of the most promising and versatile artists to emerge from the harder end of the scene in the last five years. He is better known for the seamless mixing and relentless late sets that he has unleashed on crowds at London's mighty Frantic, where he not only is a resident, but Co-Label Manager. 
Wayne also manages Encoded and is a resident for Vamp, Premonition and Concept.

From the launch of his first major success, the huge collaboration with Phatt Beats and Defective Audio, 'Death Warrant' - which appeared in countless DJ top tens' and went straight into the Toolbox store top five best sellers upon its opening where it has remained to this day; Wayne has gone from strength to strength and has excelled massively in his DJ career over the last few years. This is mostly due to him turning his focus to producing a vast range of high quality tracks that span from Hardhouse to Hard Trance under his own name and under his aliases, DDT and The Pandemics.

Not only are his own tracks synonymous with the harder, driving sound of Hardhouse, but Wayne has also worked with some of the most influential producers in the scene, including BK, James Nardi, Dom Sweeten (Defective Audio, Base Graffiti, OD404) and Dave Owens (Munkjack, Curve Pusher, D.F.O), all of whom he has Top 10 releases with, most recently with Disturbed Nation's brother from another mother, James Nardi with their collab and 100th Twist Trax release, 'Eternally'.

Ian M is the original hard house DJ and still the best.

For eight years in the ‘90s, the Leicester prodigy played a central role in the success of the most important after-hours club in British dance music history, Trade, the most influential club in the annals of hardness.

Having cut his teeth in his hometown for several years towards the end of the 80s, the DJ world’s God of thunder got his first big break when Trade offered him a slot on a tour date in Birmingham.

The rewarding residency that followed at the London club’s homebase in London gave Ian the challenging task of playing after the lord of the dance Tony de Vit, one that he pulled off successfully week after week.

The fruitful relationship with Trade afforded the Godfather of hard house a number of memorable career highlights. These include playing to an audience of 250,000 at the Love Parade in Leeds, teaming up with Danny Tenaglia at Twilo in New York and playing Dance Valley in Amsterdam alongside Carl Cox.

The punisher’s more recent successes at the epicentre of the hard universe are as notable and widespread, as his much-admired residencies at Sundissential, Insomniacz, Storm, Twist, Sinergy, Fuel and Insekt testify.

Worldwide demand for his dynamic DJ sets has taken Ian everywhere from Ireland, France, Hong Kong, Canada, Ibiza, South Africa, New York, Washington D.C, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

As a creator of top quality tunes with high production values, Ian has never been described as prolific, but when he does deliver a new tune, it tends to be a major event rather than just another record coming out. 

Who can forget the phenomenal global hysteria surrounding his timeless masterpiece ‘Crazy Pills’ when it first appeared?

Prior to that landmark outing, a string of unforgettable classics had cemented his reputation as a most outstanding music maker. 

These include two remixes of Dyewitness for Tidy Trax, his famed ‘Black Is Black’ remake for the same label, the storming singles ‘Annihilation’ and ‘The Dreamer’ along with hard-as-nails treatments for top labels such as React, Tripoli Trax, Elasticman, OVD, Kaktai and Mohawk.

Ian compiled and mixed the biggest-selling volume of all the Trade album series, and has released a host of superb compilation mixes for Tidy Trax, Fevah N.Z and Torture Garden.

2009 saw Ian returning to the studio with Dom Sweeten (of OD404) and Karl Davis (from Ireland) to run up three tracks, of which two were released for Karl’s Pure NRG label and one (DJ Rave) ended up being used for Dom’s mix on Spinball’s “Velvet Hammer” compilation.

2010 has seen Ian going back in the studio but this time, it is with Dave Owens & Valex to co-produce “Demons”, which was exclusively featured on Valex's Toolbox album together with an exclusive "Butcher Boy" Remix. Ian finished the year going back in Dave Owens Turtledog Studio with the huge "Crank" for Tidy.

2011 has started with Ian going in with Mr Owens again for the massive "Where R Da Drums" for newly formed label Twist Trax and the Radio 1 played "Bang Yer Mind" (with Ben Stevens) for Vicious Circle. And finally finishing the year off with a new track called "Dirty GaGa", recorded at Ben Stevens all new & plush studios nr Manchester.

And 2012 is looking as busy, with another visit to Mr Owens Turtledog Studios with Ben Townsend (man about town) in January, where we knocked out "Pop Idol" on Smalltown Records. Other projects are due to follow.

2013 starts with a mix album for Razor Recordings, with the name "The Razorz Edge", which has gone straight to No.1 in the Juno Download Album Chart. Ian will be in the studio again at some point in 2013 with more new artists and will be working on a new Hard House offshoot label & signing new tracks for it sometime in 2013.
