Maestro Musik, formally known as Kevin Campbell, has constantly had a passion for music since an early age. Growing up in the West Chicago area, Campbell began his musical career singing in his local church as well as in his school. His passion for singing would later evolve into learning piano amongst many other instruments. Which led him to later become a composer and producer. As years went by, he would be influenced by the sounds of gospel, jazz fusion, hip hop, and soul music. He would later use these influences to compose for his band, I.B.G, also known as Inspired by God. He dons the name “Maestro Musik” in order to showcase his versatility and creativity. Inspired by his faith, Kevin believes that nothing is truly impossible with God and hard thumping 808’s.
