How did you record the mix + your vision for the set:
I recorded the podcast in my studio at home. I wanted the mix to feel natural and alive, so I approached it like a long storytelling session rather than a technical exercise. I selected a group of tracks that I have been playing a lot recently, then recorded everything in one take. I prefer to let the flow guide me, using small imperfections to give the mix character. The goal was to create an atmosphere that fits the mood of Paradox and shows where my head is musically at the moment.

Highlight track:
One of the tracks that stands out for me is Altinbas - Sidereal. The groove has this hypnotic tension that keeps evolving without ever feeling forced. It has that perfect balance between energy and subtlety, which is exactly what I love to play. It was one of the first tracks I knew had to be in the mix.

Sigvard, Tom Hades' alternate ego. Launched in the late 90's with driving techno, containing elements of percussion and very precise resampled material, Tom has evolved over the years in many mixtures of musical styles. 

During the pandemic lots of time was spent in the studio where he gained his old love back on using external gear and the simplicity, but super effective production style using different layers coming from different gear. 

Sigvard was born as a fusion between pulsing rhythm and sharp dissonant synths, the result of the above studio working methods. Constantly curious how to improve both production and mixing and mastering techniques, Sigvard is on a constant growth in sound.

Do not expect anything but detailed tracks, full of organic and human changes, going from pure direct techno to very complex IDM tracks through ambient soundscapes.
Sigvard will not limit himself, the only thing in common will be his love of music and machinery.

FM4 La boum de luxe feat. Uncertain // Nov 7th 2025

FAFO Records proudly presents its 36th release: Bahe Lumon EP, a long-awaited work by Giorgio Robles, founder of the label and a key figure in the underground scene. Originally produced over two years ago, this EP finally sees the light-delivering a deep, hypnotic, and groove-heavy journey rooted in minimal techno. The release features two original tracks, Bahe and Lumon, reflecting Giorgio's signature approach: elegant, rhythmic, and crafted for intimate dancefloors. The EP is further enriched by two outstanding remixes: one from Herman Saiz, a seasoned producer and founder of the acclaimed label Sound of Sirius (which previously featured a joint release with Giorgio), and another from Venda, a well-known name in the global minimal scene. Based in Australia, Venda has built a solid reputation through a series of quality vinyl releases, and his remix here is no exception. As always, this is a vinyl-only release, distributed by Memoria Records, and aimed at selectors, collectors, and true lovers of underground sounds.

Giorgio Robles - Bahé Lumon EP (Herman Saiz & Venda Remixes) // FAFO036

Hanagasumi, or "flowering haze," is a Japanese term that poetically describes the smoky, blurred appearance of numerous cherry blossoms visible from a distance. This image is often compared to a floral mist or fog. Through this word, the Japanese convey the visual effect created by a large number of flowers forming a soft, diffused, and ethereal picture. Such a description beautifully resonates with the musical palette of the new release. Introducing the long-awaited album Agera by the mysterious musician Jon'Smu. The record combines elements of classic deep house and ambient music, creating a unique atmosphere and the author's distinctive signature. The album features 8 stunning tracks, carefully selected and compiled into a cohesive story. A few words from the author: "This album, spanning a vast timeline of creativity, is about how important and interesting it is to be in motion and in constant search of something new. The recordings presented cover a significant interval of my musical journey through the diversity of genres and sound experimentation. At the core of the music lies Nature - it is the primary source of inspiration for me, and Action is a key moment of life for everything in nature. A wide range of instruments was used in the recording process, whether fully digital compositions or those featuring vintage analog instruments. I hope my love for an immense variety of genres is reflected in this album and brings joy to the listeners."

Jay Tripwire - Bad Bad Cricket Man EP // KKYV08

Kerouac presents a captivating five-track vinyl-only EP on Murmurations, showcasing groove-rich basslines, intricate percussion and deep rhythmic textures into a dancefloor-ready package. The A-side kicks off with "Gravity", a hypnotic excursion of looping stabs and rolling percussion, before sliding into "Active Meditation", a deep, driving cut built on smooth stabs and an elastic bassline. The flip opens with "Official Line", a tumbling low-end roller with layered vocal chops and crisp percussion. "Chugs" lives up to its name, a relentless groove packed with vocal hooks and a thick, chugging bass. Finally, "Too Sea Bee" winds things down with warm chord progressions and a funky, laid-back vibe that leaves a lasting glow.
