I just came in and wrote this post after my first live set, which took place today at 21:00, where the presentation of the 2nd single with a clip was. Finally I can share this single with you. The melody of this single came to my mind in 2nd grade when I just learned to play the piano on my own. And after so many years I finished this song by adding couplets, a bridge and words that are about what I felt in the past. Thank you for staying with me.

Synths, gritty guitar hooks, electronic beats and melodic lyrics distinguish Daniel Brooke from the crowd. With influences from hyperpop, emo, metalcore and trap, the 24-year-old artists brings a much-needed twist to the played-out rock genre. And it shows. After his time as a Youtube guitarist where he gathered a total of 450.000 views, he released his first project called Deadheading, an EP. With singles like ‘Roleplay’, ‘Yung Monroe’ and ‘Cigarettes Don’t Solve Problems’, he showcased what the Dutch artist is about… Loud, aggressive, catchy music you can not only cry yourself to sleep to, but also rage to. 

After his EP ‘Deadheading’ Daniel Brooke started to focus on his future music, and he’s not alone in this next project. Together with White Russian Records, (former) home to bands as Call it Off, GIRLSGIRLSGIRLS and Jetlag Jenny he’s set out to release A LOT of new music in 2022 with his first single being the song ‘Space Girl’.
