Jonas Rathsman announces his latest offering with cutting-edge innovators Crosstown Rebels. ‘Complex’ featuring Josef Salvat is released on 10th June 2016.

This is a tech-blues odyssey, an introverts primal scream, where complex emotions and urges are vented and perfectly complemented by Rathsman’s explorations into the dark corners of electronic music. Enjoy the journey. With the release only in the hands of a select few tastemaker DJs, ‘Complex’ has been making waves at the recent Miami Winter Music Conference, “receiving hands in the air welcomes and even a sit down ovation” according to label boss Damian Lazarus. ‘Complex’ is set to be the first underground anthem of 2016. 

The release comes with two carefully chosen remixes. First up is Swiss techno stalwart Deetron, who steers the song into percussive acid oblivion while Serge Devant offers up his deep house expertise for a dramatic and driving offbeat cut. 

With his instantly recognisable sound, Jonas has found praise the world over for his keen ear and transcendent sets, which have captivated listeners on both the international club and festival scenes.

Following his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Rathsman continues to showcase his technical capabilities and impressive track selection with his bi-monthly mix series ‘ELEMENTS’, now on its fourth instalment.

Young Irish-producer Rebūke continues his rapid ascent to the top with two original productions on Hot Creations, primed and ready for the dancefloor.

Rebūke recalls being worried that Along Came Polly may have been perceived as being “a bit too weird”, but once it caught the attention of Jamie Jones, there was no stopping it. He says that the hype surrounding this EP “is something I’ve never experienced before...and it always get a great reaction”.

On Along Came Polly, Rebūke showcases his innate ability to craft a weirdly, wonderful slice of techno. On the B-side, Rolo is a much housier affair, weaving together a bouncier bassline and sultry vocal stab.

The alias of Reuben Keeney, Rebūke, has only been in business for a short while, but his efforts have already proved to be fruitful. He has garnered support from the likes of Nic Fanciulli and released on labels including Saved and DFTD, as well as having a successful club night under his belt, where highly regarded names such as Camelphat, Darius Syrossian, Ejeca and Huxley have all played.

Jamie Jones’ ever impressive Hottrax brings Italian Francesco Parente on board for a set of killer, club optimised weapons.

With previous releases on Rawthentic, CUFF, and Riva Starr’s Brock Wild, as well as garnering previous support from heavy hitters such as Loco Dice, Marco Carola, and The Martinez Brothers, Francesco’s career shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

‘Don’t Tell Me’ sees Francesco make an immediate statement: intense, punchy kits take front and centre, with gloopy FX, lingering synths, and the titular vocal sample swirling around the immaculately crafted track. ‘Focusrite’ melds jacking drums together with a twisted hip hop sample, constantly propelling forward with clever switches and breakdowns throughout.

‘Soy’ ups the tempo, making full use of the sparse vocals and occasional tender saxophone to deliver a versatile track that no doubt will stay in many DJ’s bags for some time to come. ‘Estoy Enamorada’ sees Francesco team up with frequent collaborator Aguilar for an undisputed bomb, marrying funky Latin-esque samples with enticing build ups and immensely satisfying drops, a surefire dancefloor killer.
