The Yabba Dabba boys are back with their 3rd EP and sending signs of life from their temporary tropical hermitage in Mexico. Weird by nature – this name says it all. This Being the first release of Samaa Records, hence, it is named 'Earthstrong' which is a term closely tied to Rasta culture and a term for a birthday. 'Earthstrong' pronounced 'urt-strang' focuses on the principles of empowerment through words and sounds. While the word 'birthday' is literal, referring to the day of your birth, 'Earthstrong' alludes to the concept of cultivating a stronger connection with the earth each passing year, where earth means the international community.

We find ourselves in a even more disconcerting version of our future , wistfully blinking back to the „good old days“ and facing a world, harsher and wilder than we imagined in our dystopian dreams.
Artificial Intelligence has taken over and the machines are superior to mankind, culture & arts are on a all time low and considered as unnecessary.
Yet some brave digital activists gather in the underground, waving the flags of a artistic revolution and dancing like it would be their last dance, to the sonic waves blasting out of the systems.
In Deviant Force`s latest release, well-known heavy weights of the scene go hand in hand with rising talents in order to deliver the right soundtrack to that scenario. A journey through diverse interpretations of the nighttime genre, from apocalyptic stompers, through schizophrenic mind benders straight up to cutting edge DJ weapons.
A thoughtfully curated 13 track collection with a strong dance floor focus, selected by one of the label founders himself, Mutaro.

Samaa is a record label from the heart of Asia founded in 2017 by Jafar and is an addition to the Digital Om Productions family.

After years of traveling, DJ-ing, and co-working behind various projects and labels, Jafar intends to bring his own vision in, and the idea of Samaa Records is born. 

Inspired by the tolerance and heritage of the (Sufis), the name (Samaa) was chosen. (Samaa) literally means the exalted in a Sufi ceremony of dancing oneself into a state of trance and bliss and is the mystical merging with the divine, a journey of man's spiritual ascent through mind and love to perfection, deserting one's ego. A transformation process that leads to (Wajd), a trance-like state of ecstasy. Physically this state may include unexpected movements, agitation, and a can lead to (Khamra), which means “spiritual drunkenness.”

Samaa Records purely created out of love for psychedelic music and its culture. It wishes to send its frequencies and vibrations to bring similar experiences of ultimate bliss, love, and awareness to global dancefloors and hope it helps people dissolve their differences of religion, race, caste, country, and any such boundaries between them. <3
