IndVsEnv ::: {industrialism versus environmentalism}

a spectrum all humans experience, a framework of perspective to understand the relationship between societal + technological advancement and our earth, and the role we all play in that. 

the personal :: dancing among the cityscape entranced in the lively motion , while yearning for the mystique of wandering the forest … both places integral to my existence ~ 
the micro :: understanding our every day actions, investments, communication, and creations, and how they influence our community and land ~
the macro :: witnessing destruction from the greediness of resources, those in power disregarding pollution to further their desires, the earth screaming through catastrophic weather patterns, the general population will be affected // already affected the most ~ 

the apparent dichotomy of the two ideologies , but the eager need for them to coexist. at what point can we change ??? how can empower each other to prioritize the planetary health, so we too can have a healthy civilization ::: let’s practice eco-consciousness so all species can live and heal. 

\\\ ::: advocacy = action !
the two go hand in hand — utilize your voice to promote the protection of land , become educated in the policies & law within your community/state/region : what’s at stake? whats being utilized and why is it being utilized ? , understand your purchasing power :: invest in companies, organizations, products, people, that align with your eco values. 

the world is such a beautiful place, we all deserve to see & experience it in its full magnitude.

Weird times call for weird tunes. When I envisioned what this track would be like, I kept thinking about how it would feel to be venturing into a deep ancient forest. With feelings of uncertainty, excitement for what lies ahead, the vastness of the trees towering over you, and the wildlife becoming aware of your presence. 
I recorded a lot of instruments in this one, from guitar, chimes, singing bowls, percussion, in an attempt to bridge the world of traditional and electronic sounds together.
