Bercé par des parents passionnés de musique, il s’épanouit sur des sons aussi divers que variés. C'est vers l'âge de 14 ans que ses tendances musicales s'orientent vers la minimal-tek / techno / house etc...

C'est au cours de l'année 1998 qu'il s'initie au djing et à la suite de quoi il partira mixer un peu partout en France, en Belgique notamment aux cotes de grands artistes tel que Digitalism, jack de marseille, chris willys, sabatier, Tom Pooks, Er-Ken... et bien d'autres.
Dj resident successivement de plusieurs discotheques durant de nombreuses années dans le gard, l'herault, la haute garonne; .Imaxxdj se produit egalement dans des evenements live dans le sud de la france, des sets qui lui permettent d'exprimer son propre style.
Musicalement construit et inspiré par les plus grands clubs et afters montpellierains, en particulier le Bar Live et le Yaka, il vous transportera avec ses sets minimal/tech, teck house, dark-tek aussi violents que planants.
Ambitieux, autoditacte, son riche parcours et son savoir faire lui permette de produire aujourd'hui ses propres tracks.

Resident Dj successively several Night-Clubs for many years in the Gard, the Herault, the Haute Garonne. Imaxxdj also occurs in live events in the south of France, some sets that allow them to express their own style.
Musically built and inspired by the biggest clubs and afters from Montpellier, especially Bar Live and Yaka, He will bring you with minimal sets / tech house, dark- tek as violent as hovering .
Ambitious, autodidact , his rich career and his expertise allow him to produce his own tracks today

PROGRAM NOTE
For many years, my wife Victoria and her FAB5 quintet (string quartet and percussion), have entertained thousands of people at numerous performance spaces and travel hubs in New York City, including Moynihan Train Hall, Oculus World Trade Center, Javits Center, and Chelsea Market. Having seen many of their shows, especially those at travel hubs, there's a certain tension and release you experience watching people wait anxiously for their trains, and then the release they feel when they are finally on their way. I've had these experiences myself, so I wanted to create two pieces that emulate these feelings.

Wound Up/Unwind consists of two contrasting pieces for string quartet and percussion. The first, Wound Up, for string quartet and cajón, imitates the feeling of being worried, anxious, and frustrated, especially while waiting to board a train. The second, Unwind, for string quartet and handpan, is calm and soothing, perhaps emulating the satisfying feeling of relaxing in a quiet seat as the train leaves the station. Both pieces can be performed independently and in any order.

Wound Up/Unwind is written for and commissioned by the FAB5 quintet with support from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
