Neyl and I worked on this beautiful edit of Maz, Apache, and Maxi Meraki's enormous track "Nothing On Me" together, uplifting the track further with a cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" (interpreted by Anna Naklab) and the magical touch of Neyl's guitar. The result is a track that is nostalgic, sentimental, and EUPHORIC.

The latest episode of the Get Physical radio show is compiled and mixed by Samantha Loveridge. Samantha has had an amazing 2023 with her cover of R.E.M.’s ‘Losing My Religion’, alongside Treetalk, storming the Beatport charts and picking up repeated support on BBC Radio 1.

Inspired by his international upbringing and love for afro-centric world music, Joseph's two track EP is a reflection of his first appearance in the musical world. With its driving percussion and beautiful melodies, the first track 'Namaba' aims to take the listener on a journey of empowerment and pride in their true authentic self. The second track, 'Maré', is a mid-tempo piece driven by haunting chords and soulful vocals. Intended to guide the listener through a journey of hope and beauty via the medium of sound, it speaks to the power and hope for what lies ahead. Samantha Loveridge - Conjure [Amaeo]

Session 019 - Samantha Loveridge

Mika - Relax (Alt Control & DvirNuns Edit)

After Andhim remixed it last year, Samantha Loveridge now adds her own spin to Blanka Mazimela feat. Korus & Sobantwana's 'Gcwanini'. This is her first return to the label since she collaborated with Lizwi on 'Beka' last year and after her cover of REM's 'Losing My Religion' became a big hit for the Sydney-based rising star. She has played all across the world in recent times and counts the likes of Black Coffee, Jimi Jules, and Rüfüs Du Sol as fans of her work.

Her superb remix brings some signature Afro warmth and house depth to the original. The vocal is a spine-tinging one with smoky soul while the synths keep you on edge as the drums roll on in an uplifting fashion. It is a truly standout track full of character.

Eclectic house duo andhim's remix from back in October is also included. It enriches the soul with the stirring vocals and authentic Afro-house flavours in the percussion and chord work. The rich and atmospheric original closes out this fantastic package.
