El Camino de Leda Remixes Vol.1 y Vol.2
The new collaborative release between Folcore Records (Barcelona) and Fértil Discos (Buenos Aires)

A double album made up of remixes of the vinyl released in 2019 "El Camino de Leda" that featured the participation of Chancha Via Circuito, La Charo, Uji, Shaman Herrera, Tremor, Barda, El Remolón, Soema Montenegro, Dat García, King Coya , Pol Nada and more representatives, both of the organic electronic sound of Buenos Aires and singers of contemporary Argentine folk and urban music.

This time, artists from different latitudes remix the tracks of the original ones to create new sounds in song format, to make them suitable for the dance floor in slow mode and also to listening them on any occasion. It has the participation of Klik & Frik, Rodrigo Gallardo, Guazú, Derrok, Tribilin Sound, Carla Valenti, Qechuaboi, Lucas Lead, Mente Orgánica, Nixtamal just to mention some of the collaborations.

El Camino de Leda Remixes Vol.1 and Vol.2 is a new tribute to Leda Valladares, two volumes that include 10 songs each. Available on all streaming platforms.

El nuevo lanzamiento colaborativo entre los sellos Folcore Records (Barcelona) y Fértil Discos (Buenos Aires) Un disco doble compuesto por remixes del disco editado en 2019 El Camino de Leda que contó con la participación de Chancha Via Circuito, La Charo, Uji, Shaman Herrera, Tremor, Barda, El Remolón, Dat García, Soema Montenegro, King Coya, Pol Nada y más representantes, tanto del sonido electrónico orgánico de Buenos Aires como cantantes de la música folklorica y urbana  contemporánea argentina.

En esta ocasión, artistas de diferentes latitudes remezclan las pistas de los tracks originales para crear nuevas sonoridades en formato de canciones, tan aptas para la pista de baile en modo slow como para su escucha en cualquier ocasión. Two days later they descended to the luminous plain where the joyful town of Valledupar was located. There were cockfights in the patios, accordion music on the street corners, riders on thoroughbred horses, rockets and bells. A pyrotechnical castle was being assembled. Fermina Daza did not even notice the festivities. They stayed in the home of Uncle Lisímaco Sánchez, her mother’s brother, who had come out to receive them on the King’s Highway at the head of a noisy troop of young relatives riding the best-bred horses in the entire province, and they were led through the streets of the town to the accompaniment of exploding fireworks. The house was on the Grand Plaza, next to the colonial church that had been repaired several times, and it seemed more like the main house on a hacienda because of its large, somber rooms and its gallery that faced an orchard of fruit trees and smelled of hot sugarcane juice.

About the artists:

The whole story begins in May 2017 when Shimon meets OUMK, both djing in a French country side Burner event. Aimed by the same musicals aspirations, the 2 recent projects came to murge as a duet and just started now to put their common vision in a real production process. 
"Music goes where the ideas flows". The young collaboration already find its own way into a refine deep ethnical identity with their first releases. Combining instrumentals insights with strong electronic intentions, Shimon and OUMK are traveling in inspirations, exploring the multiplicity of intentions and thematics.
Seeds are planted deep as the vision of the Sun and the Moon both up in the sky, bringing magic in music.

We ares proud to present the new release Kusht - Vardo.

When Kusht decided to leave Scotland and explore the world he had no idea of all the great wonders that would come to him, Vardo is his Ode to travel and feels it will touch others who have also chosen a life of movement. A Vardo is a Romani Wagon or most commonly knows as a Gypsy Wagon, the opening Edit on the LP is that of an old Gypsy Love song "Ketri Ketri". Making an entrance "West" shows his want to travel to Latin America and spend time with the countless influences from over the pond. We then take an adventure with "Zorio's Blackbird" flying its way to the top of the mountain where we meet the crazy collaboration between Kusht and his father R Gold with this Acoustic Cowbell Onomatopoeia showdown "Twangklang". Finally we retreat into the arms of "Tarzan" who shows us there can be the strongest of love between two strangers. 

Kusht takes inspiration from all over the world especially Africa and Latin America, he ties them to the sounds of the cold north and his Celtic roots to create a harmonious fusion of cultures. Vardo is organic and soft yet with some room rumbling moments, this is one to enjoy a hot cup of tea on a cold morning sunrise. ​​​​​​​​​​
