Their first release ”Lowlife/Hi-Tech/Occult” is a distillation of every synth that has passed through Johan's hands, like a microcosmos of genres that weave in to each other and begins to tell a story that will be bigger than the sum of its parts.'

Honored to welcome recent LA arrival John Jones to the series for Volume 47. He records music solo as Nerftoss / AV Moves / Calvin, and is involved in a collaborative project called Geo Rip. This mix served as an exercise for him to find a meeting point between sounds that initially sparked his interest in the genre of electronic music in the early 2000’s, and the stuff him, his friends, and contemporaries are making now. A sentiment to a past self through moods and melodic elements.
