Bright Blue

I'd been meaning to nail down the sound of some of the more serious/reflective conversations held in the fourth Elancia book. The characters get a lot of time to look inwards out on the frontier, and everyone's been through a lot, changed a lot, and suffered through it all. No one asked to go on this journey. It wasn't even meant to be one.
I like this a lot better than what I had done during the first album. I wanted to mix the gravity of the story/setting, with the weird/funky feel I gave a lot of the Elancia "lore" songs.

Det är musik som andas rökig klubbstämning, svävande synthar och svettig jamenergi, men med den nordiska själens melankoliska efterklang. Varje låt är som ett trip-logg – från svampens första blinkning till den totala upplösningen i färg och rytm.

This was originally going to be the indoor theme for an RPG I'm doing the soundtrack for, but I decided it sounded too sentimental and went with something else. This is an example of the sound design I'm using for some upcoming indie games that I am doing music for.
