ARMADA SOUNDS is the given name to a series of compilations presented by the booking agency and record label BLDSMX. This series was founded in early 2020, with the purpose of interacting with artists who are within the international underground music scene, which are joined by a deep and universal web of soundscapes and connections. This project is a product generated through effort and dedication to the bass music scene, and the avant-garde electronic sounds in the constantly evolving and hybridizing rhythms of 140-170 BPMs such as Juke/Footwork, Dubstep, D&B, Jungle, Halftime, and more

This project was born from the thirst of creators, DJs and producers Alan Flores ‘Vinil Motion’, Pil ‘Deeplinkin’, and most recent addition to the crew Felipe Jardel ‘Aiokai’, with the devotion and passion for low frequencies, repetitive drums, half times and the energetic rhythms mentioned. This great collaboration within the BLDSMX team has, as a purpose, connecting with the inmost parts of listeners and producers alike, to make this deep and universal web as tangible as possible

Track started in my 'liquid era', circa April 2023. Back when I had the courage to write for the Piano.
Somewhat a followup to City Streets - this was made in the same era.

Collection of Liquid Drum & Bass works from 2021~2024.
This album is a testament to almost 4 years of producing, while still not finding what I truly enjoy making. Perhaps, one could say I'm lost. But at the same time, I've been lost forever yet I've never felt like it was truly a problem. So Let's hope the next few years are equally filled with both ups and downs - I think this is what makes my life so interesting.
Liquid DnB has been a great genre to produce over the years, with inspiration by Makoto, LSB, Harry Shotta, and many more. While being a genre I sometimes consider as 'lazy' or 'uninspired', I still think it's one of the widest subgenres of drum & bass, considering the range of instruments---both synthetic and acoustic---which can be used.

The cover artwork and video visuals are a love letter to my magnificent country and region - the French Alps, and showcase something I really enjoy: taking deep breaths outside through driving, hiking or cycling. The photo was taken in 2023 during a bivouac and is the westside of Taillefer from the Plateau des Lacs, and various videos were taken from 2021 to today on various trips and hikes, by car, foot or bicycle.

Unique to Not Vae is an ethereal and minimal style, evidenced by “Nocturnal” - a gentle, sub-heavy halftime breakbeat roller. 

“Pale Colors” moves into more intense territory, a gritty expedition, with precision percussion, taking turns between footwork and techno influences.

“Stamina” is the final original contribution by Noh Vae. Tense soundscapes and terse melodies accompany an intent progression from darkness to light. 

With a stripped down, reworked version of “Stamina”, Breaka brings it into club music territory, rounding up this truly diverse release.
