The Finger is an indie rock band located in Thessaloniki, Greece and it consists of 5 members : Lia Siouti, Noukas Sotiris, Azas Sakis, Nick Ditsias, Andrew Haralanis.
All the members before the formation of the band, had already worked together in several projects, which resulted in a special chemistry and connection between them.
Their sound is deeply influenced by the British rock scene but individually their musical influences vary from trip hop to heavy metal sounds.
Their debut cd single "Die! Die Superhero!" was selfreleased on June,10th and distributed digitally worldwide.
The single resulted in a fast growing fan base and a big coverage by the press in Greece and worldwide.
The band is also planning to start touring after the release of their debut album "I Don't Believe My Eyes", on March, 15, 2012.

Dan Ottewell is a singer, songwriter and guitarist aged only 17, who has already stunned world famous artists with his searing brand of poignant, straight to the vein self-penned lyrics and impressive acoustic guitar solos. Following the launch of his self-titled EP in 2022, Dan became the youngest ever artist to sell out a major Nottingham venue and has subsequently supported the likes of Terrorvision and Nottingham legends Ferocious Dog on numerous occasions. Dan has been eagerly watched at gigs by big-name supporters such as Frank Turner, and The Levellers, who invited him to play at the legendary Bimble Inn at their annual Beautiful Days Festival, twice. Recently, Dan has rocked audiences at festivals across the country, including multiple stages at Glastonbury Festival 2023!

Their lyrics echo the concerns of our time such as Climate Change, Racism, Austerity or Populist Politics. Their soul-lifting debut single “Make Me Strong” was released at the start of the lockdown and they donated their merch to the #SaveOurVenues campaign run by Music Venue Trust.

Their second single “When I Am King” continued in their style of mixing the anthemic punk of The Clash and The Gaslight Anthem with the protest lineage of Neil Young and Billy Bragg. A captivating video premiered on Facebook Live in September 2020.

Their debut mini album "Back to Abnormal" was produced by Paul Tipler (Idlewild, Reuben, Elastica, Placebo) at Stereolab’s studio in London and will come out on 1st October on Engineer Records.
