On the 21st October 2016 1Forty launched at one of the biggest nightclub brands in the country.. Mint, Leeds. Welcoming @CausenAffect, @ChampionDJ & @SkepsisProducer. Versipelli - A shapeshifter that is sly and cunning.

Honing his craft since the age of 16 Versipelli has long held a penchant for all things heavy, inspired by Birmingham’s deeply embedded bass roots. Primarily influenced by UKG, UK funky and old school Bassline, his productions capitalise on fast pace, chaotic wobbles and infectious percussive breaks - the perfect recipe for a succession of face-melters and rewinds.

Although fairly young on the scene this is by far no measure of his artistic flair and merit, already receiving support from the likes of Skepsis and Darkzy who themselves have become something of pioneers in the bass resurrection.

This praise and scene-wide appreciation can also be highlighted further; a feature on the Pure Bassline 2 compilation with track ‘Shotgwarn VIP’ marks a promising career trajectory with nods from all the right people.
