Based in California, Eileen Carey is an award-winning pop-country singer-songwriter. Her music stands at the intersection of pleasant melodies and explorations of self empowerment and emotional fulfillment, all enveloped in upbeat country influences with pop arrangements. 

Born and raised in the outskirts of Cleveland, Ohio, Carey was surrounded by music when growing up, having become an accomplished drummer by the age of 13. After a few years of learning music, she decided to expand her artistry by moving to California in the late 80s to study acting, film and theater. This led her into a brief acting stint, landing roles in major films such as Hoffa, Basic Instinct and Tim Burton’s Batman, along with advertising campaigns such as her role in one of Ray Charles’ Diet Pepsi commercials.

Since then, the artist has delved deeper into music, releasing four studio albums, including her latest release Let It Go. The album features songs which explore themes of letting go the ties that bind us to the past. This is best depicted in the uptempo title track about forgetting the small mishaps from our past that lead to insecurities and indecisions. The album also includes the single “In the Air” a romantic pop country ballad, as well as “Good Bad Girl” a country rock song about appreciating and asserting one’s multifaceted complexities. These singles have topped all the New Music Weekly’s Country Radio Charts.

Along with strong original songs, there are a handful of reimagined and modernized covers of iconic songs from the 80s, such as “Only The Lonely” by the The Motels, “Walking On Sunshine” by Katrina and the Waves, “Don’t Get Me Wrong” by The Pretenders. Each song showcases a different side to the theme of Let It Go and adds a different layer of personality to the album. 

Some of her many accolades include the Los Angeles Music Awards Live Country Music Performer of 2017 and Female Country Artist of 2016, as well as New Music Weekly’s 2016 Country Breakthrough Artist of the Year. She was also awarded the National Radio Hits’ Favorite Female Country Artist of the Year for 2017 and the Independent Radio Networks Crossover Artist of 2016.

Moreover, in addition to her devotion to music, the songstress takes part in many different projects, from being an avid kickboxer, to her involvement in animal welfare through FixNation, and finally by providing parenting resources on her blog themusicmom.com.

Electronic music project. It was founded by Fedor Golikov in 2014. Currently, it is a solo project of the musician. The project has no genre restrictions. Styles of tracks range from trance and house to chillout and different base music.
The main link in Fedor music is atmosphere and freedom from frames.

I was born in 1999, grew up in a rock music environment. During my first teenage years, electronic dance music deeply caught my attention, interest and full focus. Pretty fast, I started making my first sounds to express aesthetic beauty as I perceive it in life. It's all about aesthetic beauty and lovely science, meaning that I believe there can be art through science and that mathematical perfection (or imperfection) can be even romantic. Fundamentelly inspired by the creation, evolution and superordinate culture of electronic dance music through the years in tandem with the beauty of our universe as (God) engineered it. Dance4Life! My name is Ali - I’m an artist, musician, intuitive sound healer, educator, and coach. Music has been the thread that carried me through the darkest seasons of my life and became the anchor that helped me reclaim my voice, purpose, and power.

I was born into a storm. My parents were young and struggling, and I absorbed the chaos they couldn’t contain. By age seven, I was already battling suicidal ideation. That pain continued for years, even as I went through therapy, medications, and diagnosis after diagnosis—depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD.

But there was always one thing that brought me back to life: MUSIC

As a kid, I carried a Little Mermaid karaoke machine like a lifeline. I sang everything—my emotions, the day’s events, the feelings I couldn’t explain. We didn’t have much money, so I learned to create with whatever I could find. Music was never about perfection—it was my only place of peace.

I followed that passion into academia, earning a Bachelor of Science in Music Media Production, a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance. I studied theory, pedagogy, songwriting, recording, and more. But even as I built my career, my trauma was building too—bulimia, sexual assaults, domestic violence, an armed robbery. Panic attacks became constant. I didn’t understand I had PTSD until much later.

What truly began to shift things was EMDR therapy—a trauma-focused modality that helped me reconnect my emotional body with my intellectual understanding. It wasn’t easy, but it was the first time I felt in control of my emotions. Around this time, I also began deep spiritual work—practicing Tarot, shadow work, inner child healing, and ancestral connection. I finally understood the voices I’d heard for years weren’t madness—they were spirit.

In 2021, I moved to Chicago and met DC, a musician and magical practitioner who encouraged me to reclaim freedom in music. He eventually become my partner in music and life. With him, I began building community. Then, in 2023, I lost my corporate job, our car was stolen, and DC also lost his job. It was a devastating year, but also a divine invitation. I realized I could no longer separate healing from my art—it was time to combine them.

That’s when Artists Roots truly began to bloom.

Artists Roots started in 2020 as a heart-led voice and piano studio but is now growing into a space for healing through music. Yes, I still offer traditional services—lessons, coaching, recording consultations—but I also help people access their emotional core. We use music to process grief, trauma, and transformation. We use our voices to heal.

Music stimulates the limbic system—the emotional brain where trauma lives. This is why music can make us cry or give us chills. It speaks directly to the body. Through intentional music-making, we release blocked energy, reconnect with our inner child, and transmute pain into power.

DC and I are also building a broader healing community in Chicago—hosting sliding scale workshops and monthly co-creation circles where artists gather to create, grieve, and grow together. We believe healing is communal, and through music, we can lift one another up.

I want to see a world where artists are free—not trapped by trauma, but empowered by their truth. Music saved me, and I believe it can save others too. Artists Roots is my offering to that mission.

At the beginning of the pandemic, LØX released his first project ‘Bad Dreams - EP.’ A year after it’s release brought wisdom, heartbreak, and the drive to experiment and push his music further. In a tiny studio apt, LØX and his producer/brother Sam Driborr, worked on Persona - EP, which offers an in-depth look into his emotional journey through suppressed regret, anger, grief, sadness and love.
