Artificial Dance founder Interstellar Funk releases Live At The Rest Is Noise - Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. Limited to 150 cassettes, the recording documents Interstellar Funk’s performance at Amsterdam’s Muziekgebouw concert hall in October 2021. The 45-minute set ebbs and pulses, leaving behind Interstellar Funk’s penchant for hardwearing club sounds in favour of melody and texture. Some passages mirror elements from the studio album Into The Echo (Dekmantel, 2022), but the live setting allows Interstellar Funk to expand and explore richly detailed sonic spaces that highlight his skills as a composer-performer.

We're super geeked to welcome Ninasupsa aka Nina Bochorishvili to the GF series this week. This immensely talented DJ is one of the founders of Mutant Radio and a resident DJ at Bassiani/Horoom in Tbilisi. Together with an impressive team consisting of Tata and many other talented individuals, this forward-thinking crew bootstrapped an online station and grew this into one of the most prominent platforms in the scene. It's set up in a wagon and located at a former power station in Tbilisi, Georgia. Here they've crafted and developed their distinct mutant sound and host radio shows by Low Bat, who is a key contributor to the station, Diamin, Sons of Traders, Newworldaquarium, Robert Bergman, our own Bertram, and many others. They also invest heavily in their local community and never shy away from sharing their political views. Whether hosting takeovers in Garage Noord here in Amsterdam or Sameheads in Berlin, Ninasupsa and her team continue to spread the mutant gospel and we couldn't be happier about it. Traxman has announced five European dates plus a night in Mexico City as part of his Get It Moving tour.

Celebrated for his influence on the juke, footwork and ghetto house scenes, the Chicago DJ hasn't played outside the US since February 2020. His European dates start at the Ying Yang Club in Biel, Switzerland, on January 27th, followed by appearances on Fribourg's TRNSTN Radio on January 30th and RaBe Radio Bern on February 1st.
